• Coordinating with the Design Architect and responding to post-tender technical queries raised by the Contractor
• Providing co-ordination support between the Architectural & Engineering Disciplines
• Performing technical review of all workshop submittals including shop drawings, materials and technical submittals.
• Guiding the Site inspectors’/Field architects in inspecting the various stages of finishes
• Preparing clarification drawings and sketches to ensure that the project design intent is well interpreted to the Contractor

Coordinates with other Consultant’s designers,
Coordinates with the Contractors design issues,
Works on the required site modifications, prepares and submits Variation Order to the Client’s approval, issues Engineer’s Instructions and answers the contractors’ technical requests.
Is in charge of all types of verifications :
Prepare technical comments on non conformity reports, instruction request and material approvals that will be transmitted to the Construction Manager via the Resident Engineer for validation,
Review all documents related to construction work, such as but not limited to: shop drawings, as-built documentation, method of statements, materials submittals, mock-ups, etc…
Alert in case of claims and advise the Contract Adviser for answering claims,
-Check the production and construction quality on site,
-Check manufacturing of devices (including validation of prototype).
-Supervises the all construction work stages :
-Supervises installation, commissioning, testing, punch listing and training,
-Control the progress of works (building site follow-up, execution plans control…through site visit),
-Attends site meetings with the client, contractors, subcontractors and/or suppliers,
-Supervises inspectors.

1. Inspect site conditions prior to start of construction activities. Verify the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works. Check for obstructions. Photograph and document the condition of existing property that might be damaged by the work. Make sure all existing structures, property, utilities and landscaping are properly protected.

2. Review materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report findings to RE.
4. Inspect the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals..
5. Prepare daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc. Perform all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
6. Observe site safety practices and the progress of the work. Report any concerns to the RE.
7. Assists with the inspection of completed works. Help prepare punch lists. Monitor the startup, testing, commissioning and handover of the works.
9. Review RFIs received from Contractor (s) and make recommendations on resolution.
10. Review any requestes for variance received from Contractors and provide comments as to entitlement and recommendations on resolution. Participate with the RE in negotiations as required.
