Align the various SC plans (demand plan, inventory plan, supply plan and MRP)

Assess the capacity and capability of suppliers to ensure that they can effectively work as part of the supply chain, including an assessment of their strategic fit with the organization.
Evaluate how supplier development activities can support the ongoing management of supplier performance and aid continuous development within the process and if there is a willingness of the supplier to engage
Establish and develop strong working relationships with internal customers and 3rd party providers to ensure that the quality of service provision are consistently managed and challenged to meet agreed Service Level Agreements
Develop the vision, leadership and strategic direction for the full Supply Chain, from materials supplier to distribution to the customer.
Conduct the review of the current activities, processes and procedures in place to manage the flow of supplies and evaluate their effectiveness.
Identify strengths and weaknesses in the flow of supplies and aim to identify areas that could jeopardize the successful delivery of the supply chain strategy

Ensure the implementation of the Internal Control Standards and the respect of the related procedures through-out the BU purchasing organisation
Contribute to the definition of BU business objectives; consequently define the BU Purchasing strategy in line with Group Purchasing Policy
Manage the Purchasing Department to meet the team mission and establish the plan for department activities of local and overseas
Ensure a good knowledge of the market conditions *
Monitor the selection of suppliers and establish the lists of blacklisted / accepted/ referenced / preferred suppliers *
Optimise purchasing conditions to cover BU’s needs in a competitive, reliable, ethical and timely manner *

Purchasing all the factory needs (Local and Imported ) such as the components for assembly lines, raw material, spare parts, machines & equipments, consumables and other requirements for all departments in the electric water heater factory
All the procurement work for the supply of any needs to the factory as well as long and short terms agreements and contracts.

Managing the production Planning, and coordination with sales team to prepare a suitable production plan
Stock control for all items to achieve the optimum stock, without having any over stock, or any shortage of material.
Coordination with the sales and planning department to arrange for the purchasing of the components and machines and to produce their needs in the proper time
Logistics management, including import, export and equipment rental

The installation of the electromechanical works such as the boiler rooms complete with all its equipment such as boilers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, pumps softeners daily and monthly fuel tanks pipe lines of steam, condensate, hot & cold water, compressed air and electric cables supply and its cable trays in new built hotels and hospitals and industrial factories.
Then I was assigned to be the Acting procurement and purchasing manager for the company (imported & exported items) including raw materials and components and preparing the bids for the subcontractors and contracts.

The company was a supplier of boilers and it's accessories and my job was the installation of the boiler rooms and mechanical equipments complete with all its equipments such as boilers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, pumps softeners daily and monthly fuel tanks pipe lines of steam, condensate, hot & cold water, compressed air and electric cables supply and its cable trays

Monitoring and supervising the utilities of the factory, such as the boiler room, mechanical rooms, including pumps, compressors, steam & water tanks, fuel tanks, and pipelines
The scope of work included the installation and maintenance of the lines including all its accessories
Supervising the contractors and receiving of their work
Daily reports on the utilities lines
Preparing the tenders and needs for contracting jobs
