1. Reviewing documents/drawings submitted by the client.
2. Preparing the yard lay out for the project.
3. Preparing the fabrication sequence for the project.
4. Supervision for the work shop drawings done by the drafts man.
5. Supervision for the lifting procedure for jacket and deck levels using the sap program done by drafts man.
6. Structural integrity for offshore structures as;
• Plan the inspection strategy for the structures
• Establish inspection priorities
• Follow up inspection activities
• Perform data gathering
• Coordinate with the client/owner and the 3rd. party-the fitness for service assessment study
• Follow up repair and maintenance activities for offshore structure upgrading
• Produce solution &procedure for replacement of damaged parts of the offshore structure
7. Distribute approved fabrication, lifting procedures, W.S.D. to Yard, material control and QA/QC.
8. Preparing the weight control and C.O.G. reports and weekly submitted to the client.
9. Design load spreader bars and weighing structure and get the approval from the 3rd. party.
10. Attend to any site problems associated with project and suggest solutions/alternatives for Client’s approval.
11. Issue Site Queries, follow up, and close out.
12. Preparing and operating the physical weighing procedure under my supervision "design the weighing structure and test the equipment, test the structure prior the operation".
13. Assist in Preparation of the load out procedure and sea fastening calculations and drawings and send it to the third party to get the approval to submit to the installation contractor.
14. Liaise with Hook-up Engineer to smooth hand-over of the work. Assist in preparation of Job cards and load out manifest for transfer of material to hook-up site.
15. I am the authorized person for the As-Built signing of all drawings after compilation of the project.
