Oversee the centralized procurement of local and international materials for all the
company projects, and lead and support procurement teams
• Procurement Strategy: Coordinate the development of procurement plans and
specifications, working closely with the project and engineering specialists
• Procurement Management: Prepare technical packages to send to vendors; evaluate
materials proposed in terms of quality/time/cost; review material submittals from the
selected vendor and obtain approvals; evaluate technical and commercial offers, and
select appropriate vendor; represent the procurement team in meetings with project
engineers and suppliers to finalize the techno-commercial aspects of the agreements

• Reviewed and assessed technical specification, bills of quantity and drawings to
determine suitable vendors and suppliers
• Prepared inquiry documents about commercial standards, technical specifications,
Bills of Quantity, and drawings
• Reviewed vendors and suppliers’ quotations to determine best price and delivery
date
• Reviewed quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received
from the vendors and suppliers
• Prepared and issued POs in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical
specifications
Managed projects, to include reviewing contract documents, preparing project plans,
managing resources and expenses, and ensuring compliance with plans and
specifications, and led project teams
• Involved in preparing and publishing the project safety and quality manuals to ensure
compliance with the company’s HSE and QA/QC standards
• Supported recruitment activities to source technically competent project staff projects
• Participated in the pricing of tenders and technical documentation for upcoming
projects as required
• Ensured timely payments were received from the customer
• Identified and scoped any additional works and technical upgrades not covered in
the contract to enhance the project deliverables, customer satisfaction and
company’s revenue
• Represented the company and enhance relationships in dealings with clients,
consultants and regulatory authorities
Managed capital improvement projects, which involved supervising the operations
and activities of the work units and performing routine to complex technical
engineering inspections
