Studying the Contract Information Form (CIF), Change Orders, Claims etc. and raising questions and requesting for clarifications as necessary. Preparing the final job CIF and arrange for circulation to all the concerned departments. Actively maintains / tracks the latest status / schedule on the jobs being processed at various stages. Coordinating with Manufacturing, Finance, Quality Control, Material and Shipping Departments on progress / delays. Follow up on jobs and keep the Area Office informed of the latest status on new jobs / change orders / claims / UMR's etc. Issuing Shipping Release for jobs. Monitoring closely the erection work by getting regular periodic inspection reports prepared by the Erection Coordinator. Issuing Urgent Material Request (UMR) and forwards it to the concerned department. Follow up Design Certificates, Warranties, and Quality Plans for both the on going and completed jobs. Preparing Finance Price Breakdown. Preparing various reports required by G.M &/or suggested by our department regarding any engineering issues such as engineering productivity, claims/UMR’s, site problems, etc...
Procurement activities:
Special buyouts are products that are supplied but not manufactured by the company. Responsibilities: Ensure that the technical specifications of the special buyouts are in accordance with the contract documents Ensure that the special buyouts are delivered in time to meet contractual delivery commitments Coordinate with engineering department t develop proper interface details to accommodate the special buyouts within the building shell
Getting the project data from the client in the proposal process. Preparing the offer and proposal drawings for the quotations. Making full estimate for the building.
Making the work order for the engineering department. Making the contacts with the clients till getting the approval on the project drawings Sign the contact with the customer. Making the project plan to get the critical path and the critical activity. Contact the different suppliers to get the best price for fabrication. Adjust the fabrication process to complete it on time. Arrange shipping process to deliver the project on time. Making the contacts with clients to avoid any problem during erection process Responsible for the customer satisfaction by taking all the customer complains and make the corrective and preventive action for each complain
