• Responsibility for governance risk and control across all jurisdictions within the business
• Managing oversight of risk and promoting a culture of good compliance and risk awareness
• Ensuring regulatory and company/group requirements are met
• Responding to regulatory consultations to ensure that the implications of the proposal and any issues around implementation are understood
• Ensure all changes to policies, procedures, projects and regulations are fully embedded within the business and, where appropriate, that the appropriate testing is undertaken
• Acting as the central point of reference for risk related queries
• Reviewing and maintaining controls, monitoring their effectiveness and enhancing where necessary
• Providing support to local teams covering all aspects of their risk, audit and incident management activities
• Working with the business to embed risk awareness so that it can be part of the company decision making processes and activities.
• Ensure that the business’ exposure remains aligned with their risk appetite.
• Meeting individually with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses and assets
• Offering strategic advice on products and services, such as investments, insurance coverage and debt management tools
• Securing stocks and currencies and establishing progressive savings accounts
• Moving money from accounts per industry and regulations
• Performing market research to stay current with financial trends
• Preparing financial documents, such as income projections and investment reports
• Maintaining compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial industry
• Identifying and pursuing potential clients to maintain a strong client base
To perform monitoring and analysis required to support the ALM (Asset and Liability Management) mandate and act as first line of defense in execution of ALM plans and funding strategy of the bank. • Periodic review of liquidity risk & interest rate risk position of the Bank through various measures
• Work with other areas of treasury to integrate other requirements (i.e. capital, interest rate) into the liquidity framework. • Monitor actual cash flows/earnings for deviation against cash flow/earnings forecast.
