- Managing assigned applications and ensuring that they are kept in line with the banking and financial market trends and requirements.
- Owning a roadmap with assigned priorities, revising and re-evaluating it per the company set frequency of revision.
- Managing the products enhancements projects and coordinating with the development products managers for the enhancements implementation in the system.
- Forming projects teams, setting timetables and projects plans, providing guidance and reviewing business requirements prepared by the Senior Business Analysts and Business Analysts.
- Managing and supervising the process of internal launching of new releases including readiness of needed documentation and providing guidance for that purpose.
- Ensuring that set responses to proposals are correct and done per the time frame.
- Ensuring viability and efficient consultancies to clients required issues.
- Supervising partnerships with other software vendors for product enhancement.

- Member of the Change Control Board (CCB) that is responsible for managing all the products releases.

- Understand the business issues and data challenges of clients’ organization and industry and suggest areas of improvement.
- Assess the clients’ business objectives and identify creative and doable business alternatives.
- Develop functional and system design specifications for clients’ engagements.
- Research and analysis of the new market requirements, innovative developments in business subject and changes in regional financial policies.
- Evaluate major product customization requirements to identify the scope of product functionality enhancement.
- Identify the trends in the banking industry via market research, attending conferences and workshops.
- Providing internal trainings to colleagues and external trainings to clients.

Major Projects:
- Using Swift MTs for Islamic Banking.
- Mapping and standardizing all required swift messages as per the International Swift standard across different applications (Customer Service Management, Trade Finance, Assets and Treasury: Islamic & Conventional).
- Model Bank for Trade Finance & Swift applications.
- Setting roadmaps and recommending enhancements of Trade Finance, Swift and Anti-Money Laundering Applications.
- Handled the Analysis, Design and Building phases as well as training on Trade Finance module for the following Banks:
• Al Khaliji Al Islami Bank - Qatar
• Bank of Khartoum - Sudan
• Khaliji Commercial Bank - Bahrain
• National Bank of Abu Dhabi - Sudan
• Tadhamon Bank of Syria - Syria
- Handled all Swift (inward and outward) requirements for: Al Baraka Bank - Algeria.

- Issue, amend, and advise commercial and standby letters of credit following the appropriate international regulations.
- Examine documents against Letters of Credit, process payments, and create bankers acceptances.
- Process incoming and/or outgoing documentary collections.
- Process payments; create trade acceptances following bank regulations.
- Interface with internal and external customer by providing advice and technical assistance to Relationship Managers and current or prospective customers regarding international trade products and programs.
- Advise current clients regarding the status and/or changes of letter of credit or collection items.
- Keep track of accounting and finance concepts.

Responsible for carrying out full range of administrative tasks involving diverse work processes and the application of rules and procedures to a wide variety of activities in close collaboration with the IT Center Manager and project managers within the same IT department.

Duties included:

- Financial Management Support: Assist the IT Manager in planning, tracking and controlling IT Center budget and advising on resource planning and availability.
- Administrative Support Services: Responsible for IT Center procurement processes, including preparation of Request for Quotations, receipt of quotations, bids or proposals, and their preliminary evaluation and preparing Purchase Orders.
- Reviewing and verifying invoices and common service expenses charged to the IT Center budget (rent, utilities, phone, miscellaneous); preparing payment requests and follow-up with the Central Accounting Unit (CAU) on final payments.
- Assisting the IT Manager in contacts and negotiations with service providers and external suppliers (procurement, maintenance agreements…).
- Preparing and auditing the IT Center financial statements.
