High Level Planning
• Creating Regional Backbone, Distribution & Access Network Design in accordance to Client specifications and guidelines
• Ensures the integrity of the customer access network is maintained and provides support for the deployment of access technologies.
• Design, provision, document, and direct Outside Plant Fiber Optic Cable (UG, Aerial, Buried) and Vault and conduit design.
• Creation of network will be done in Branch Tree Topology
• Review Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network designs for quality of the design decisions, using multiple GIS applications, including 3-GIS, AutoCAD and other GIS products.

• Survey of the geographical area for design of access ring in metro network
• Design of the fiber network rollout comprising of laying of fiber rings in micro pops within different regions in Bangalore.
• Mapping of fiber core layout for each access and building switch location within the fiber network
• Design and mapping of all the fiber cores (96F) which were tapped inside BTIPL manholes and hand holes
• Plotting the MMDS customers and determining the base station and the sector through which they are covered
• Preparing the as-built, maintaining the network design data, and making regular updates
