Responsibilities:
- Preparing budgets, monthly MIS, Cash flow statements and regular forecasts
- Responsible for development, implementation, and administration of financial & accounting policies.
- Managing the daily treasury functions of the unit.
- Dealing with financial institutions and banks.
- Preparation of financial performance review, preparation of monthly statements, cash/fund flow to the management.
- Reviewing agreements, coordination with Auditors
- Planning effective utilization of financial resources, controlling payments/advances.
- Monthly payroll through WPS.
- Maintaining receivables, collections, cash flow, recoveries for effective credit control.
- Ensuring that the daily payments were complying with company’s policies and procedures, projection and planning of monthly accounts payable and other obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing journal entries and handle financial data reports for the organization financial systems
- Supervising receivable department, assisting finance manager in audit operations, implementing internal controls, drafting financial reports and analyzing accounting systems
- Improving and strengthening the accounting processes to ensure effective financial and accounting control
- Handling daily accounting functions including managing Account Receivable, invoices, AP Management and preparing periodic bank reconciliations
- Define financial approaches, interpret financial data related to operations and liaise with external auditors and support in year-end financial audit. Analyze implementation of internal control mechanisms in order to mitigate financial risks
- Maintaining financial files and records and evaluate variance analysis to ensure accuracy of financial information
- Analytically review performance against the budgets, interpret results and provide to higher management for appropriate decision
- Performing periodic accounting books closing and review accounting documents
