Worked as an analyst in the marketing department in ALICO that enhanced marketing knowledge and experience, culminating in acquisition of transferable skills to apply to future management roles.
Courses: Contemporary Issues in Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Global Marketing, Strategic Marketing Management, Global Brand Management, Market Consultancy Research, Digital Marketing and International Business and Strategy Research Work: The research for dissertation was “Brand Building in Pakistan - A Case Study on Q-Mobile and Samsung”. The research being a case study purely based on secondary research and different branding theories were used to analyse branding of both the companies in Pakistan.
Relevant Modules: Business Mathematics, Business Report Writing, Ethics, E-Commerce, Business Communication, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship, Consumer Behaviour, Creativity and innovation, Integrated Marketing, Sales, Export Marketing and Brand Management. Research Work: The final year dissertation was on “Consumer Behaviour when shopping online”. The study was based on qualitative research both primary and secondary. The research was conducted in Karachi and statistical software SPSS was also used to generate results and analyse the findings. Special Assignments: • Sales Management: Project of Target sales achievement; • Brand Management: Planned and exhibited a launch of a new brand “Billoz” • Consumer Behaviour: Headed up the launch event of “Tim Horton’s” at university; • Organised and managed Drama Event as Mid Term Project of Consumer Behaviour and; • Organized “African Inspiration” fashion show as an event organizer and theme Coordinator as final project of the academic course Creativity and innovation AWARDS: • Recognized for being on the Dean’s List for Academic excellence for spring semester 2011; • Recognized for being on the Dean’s List for Academic excellence for winter semester 2011 and; • Recognized for being on the Dean’s List for Academic excellence for fall semester 2011.
