Report directly to the QHSSE Manager performs regular duties of Occupational Health Safety (OHS) Coordinator.
Assist QHSSE Manager to achieve ISO certification like IMS Audit, OSHAD Audit, EnMS System Audit, IDB Audit.
Ensure that all relevant QHSE Policy, Procedures, Manuals, Work Instruction and relevant IMS document list and original files are updated and communicated to ensure timely implementation.
Liaise with local regulatory and enforcement bodies such as IDB, Environment Agency, Civil Defense and annually renewals of companies Environmental Certificate (EAD), Civil Defense License (CD).
Managing annual QHSSE budget for Waste handling, Fire-fighting, Audit, Trainings, and Uniform/PPE etc.
Review and Monitor Contractors' monthly HSE inspections reports and HSE statistics & records.
Undertake QHSE inspections internally and with third parties as per the approved inspection program.
Ensuring smooth waste disposal and maintain appropriate records, zero waste accumulation.
Plan periodic inspection of firefighting/detection/alarm systems, mobile plant/equipment’s, lifting equipment's.
Communicate & work effectively with various consultants, auditors, inspectors and testing and certifying bodies.
Ensuring, in collaboration with all departments:
Safe plant and machinery, and safe movement, storage and use of articles and substances.
Provision of emergency procedures, first-aid facilities, safety signs, relevant protective clothing
and equipment, and incident reporting to the relevant authorities.
The workplace satisfies health, safety and welfare requirements for ventilation, temperature,
lighting, sanitary, washing and rest facilities.

• Report directly to the QHSE Manager performs regular duties of HSE Officer.
• Enforce and maintain QHSE Policy, QHSE Logs, documentation & conduct Toolbox Talks.
• Conduct Risk Assessment and prepare Safe Work Method Statement for off-site activities.
• Ensure QHSE Department is in full compliance with IMS (Integrated Management System).
• Conduct investigations of accidents or incidents and submit reports to QHSE Manager.
• Ensure timely service of 3rd
party maintenance on Fire Fighting system and certification renewals including Civil
Defense, Environment certificates, FANR, etc.
• Ensure the Emergency response Team (ERT) are identified and trained in accordance with the site conditions.
• Maintain important information on boards, posters, safety signs on a regular basis.
• Implement & delivered the QHSE Annual Training program, Trained more than 250 staffs at different areas.
• Conduct safety inductions/HSE trainings for CPM’s employee, new staff, visitors, and contract workers as and
when required.
• Issue work permits as and when needed and ensure contractor’s safety are well managed.
• Documentation of all safety related activities (Corrective Action Plan, Risk register, Legal registers, IMS
documents, Incident records, Near miss records, Mock drill records, Checklists etc.).
• Perform other work-related tasks as required and as assigned.
Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
Ensuring that equipment is installed as per the standards and safely.
Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard free environment.
Initiate and organize Safety Classes and Training according to work.
Inspection of all machinery and plant with fire extinguishers.
Maintaining safety equipment (CCTV, alarms, first aid kit, etc.)
Implementation of Safe system and PTW system.
Arrangement of First Aid training classes for everyone.
Preparations for Toolbox Meeting or Talk.
