Job Description :
• Advanced routers configuration with different routing protocols.
• Configuring Cisco Security devices; PIX firewalls, ASA’s including CSC and AIP modules, IDS’s, IPS’s, authentication servers (ACS) in addition to VPN setups.
• Configuring core switches and routers (Catalyst 6500/7600) and their modules; FWSM CSM and IDSM.
• Building up IPT solutions with advanced services implementation.
• Building up wireless LAN’s and wireless site to site distant connections
Network Operation Engineer
• Coordinate trouble resolution with other service providers in order to minimize customer (and noncustomer) affecting downtime.
• Respond to and track any such issues by ensuring customer care is promptly notified while ensuring resolution and/or proper handoff to team members.
• Respond to Network-wide outages including, but not limited to; WiMAX systems, IP network, Voice Gateways Failure, Transmission Failure, Voice Trunk Outage, Internet services failure, and Auxiliary Service outage.
•Responsible for core network operations and maintenance (O&M) activities and performance associated with Internet and WiMAX systems.
•Responsible for data canter network and security operations and maintenance (O&M) activities and performance associated with vlans, dmz’s, firewalls, and IPS systems.
•Responsible for provisioning and commissioning WiMAX network infrastructure, including AirSpan HiperMAX, SDR Blades, Subscribers Stations (Easy ST, and ProST), with AirSpan NMS (NetSpan).
•Coordinate trouble resolution with other service providers in order to minmize customer (and non-customer) affecting downtime.
•Respond to and track any such issues by ensuring customer care is promptly notified while ensuring resolution and/or proper handoff to team members.
•Provide hands on third line support for WAN and LAN
•Experience in Enterprise and Internet Service Provider (ISP) environments.
•Network Hardware:
WiMax: AirSpan HiperMAX, ProST, and EasyST.
•Cisco Routers 7200, 7600 (low/high end routers), Cisco 3560/3750 L2/L3 Switches, Cisco 4500/6500 Multilayer Switches, Cisco 1100 Access points
•WiMAX Technology: fixed WiMAX 802.16d, mobile WiMAX 802.16e, AirSpan NMS (NetSpan).
•Routing: Static routing, BGPv4, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, RIP.
•LAN Technologies: Ethernet, VTP, VLAN, 802.1q, ISL, EtherChannel, STP, HSRP.
• WiFi Technologies: 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g.
•Network Security & VPN: ACL, NAT, PAT, PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, GRE and 802.1x.
