Follows up the implementation and the changes to the Information Technology plan on small projects, Installs standard hardware and software, provides basic automation support and coordination to EDRA staff, Performs a broad range of varied automation and communications related work activities.
-Installing the upgrades and security batches of hardware and software systems.
-Obtaining competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness.
-Monitoring daily backup jobs.
-Continuous checking all of IT systems including Anti-virus updates. Print services and E-mail provision.
-Protect EDRA network from Internal & External attacks.
-Maintaining the platforms on 10 different servers (AD, Applications and Data file servers)
-Maintains accurate and timely asset management and inventory control of computer hardware and software.
-Create and update the required IT documents.
-Supports and coordinates project automation requirements.
-Evaluating end users needs and systems functionality.
-Identifies and assists with development of discipline standards of EDRA ICT
-Realizing the backup strategy of the plant's IT system through VERITAS.
-Monitoring the WiMax/Leased lines internet/VPN connection.
-Managing Cisco FortiGate firewalls settings to realizing the company's organization of internet users's authorizations.
-Managing the operating system AD to match the company's organization by distributing the authorizations of each employee due to his title also the same with the internal applications like INFOR/JDE/GP and Exchange systems.
-Planing, applying and developing the LAN settings and applications points connected and controlled by Cisco switches.
-Ensuring the software licensing laws are adhered to EDRA standards.
-providing end user's with appropriate support and advice.
