SEC is a public utility company working in the field of electric energy generation, transmission and distribution, covering all districts of Saudi Arabia. Member of the Electrical Information Systems Development Division / Information Systems Development (ISD) Department / IT sector.

The lead Senior Systems Analyst in Central Operating Area (COA) for development and maintaining of "The Electricity Distribution Applications", which consists of the following:
• The Distribution Scheme Application.
• The Distribution Substation Technical Information Application.
• The Meter Technical Information Application.
In addition to the interfaces between these applications and the finance, materials (inventory), customer services, personnel and security applications. Moreover, Member of the Unified Distribution Systems (UDS) Development Team that will replaces all the current distribution applications in all the operating areas of SEC.
Member of the UDS implementation team in all districts of central operating area. UDS is covering the different processes of the SEC’ Operation Areas in addition to the new unified business of SEC. Responsibilities include maintenance of the current functions and programs of the COA’ Distribution Applications. Supporting effectively the interfaces between the mainframe’ distribution application in the following projects:
• The project “Field Forces Management System” (FFMS), which apply the
Client-server, web, and minimized GIS services, to support the SEC crews
to resolve the electricity customer’ technical faults.
• The SEC COA Geographical Information System (GIS).
• The SEC COA Call Centers of the COA customers.
• The Unified Customers’ billing and services under SAP technology.

Also, joined effectively, the Development Team for implementing a new unified distribution application (UDS), covering the different processes in all regions of Saudi Arabia complying with the new unified business of the company. Participating effectively (by supporting the interfaces with the distribution application in the mainframe of central sector) in the following projects:
• The project “Field Forces Management System” (FFMS), which apply the Client-server, web, and GIS services, to support the SEC crews to resolve the electricity customer’ technical faults.
• The SEC Central Sector Geographical Information System (GIS).
• Call Centers of the SEC customers.
Was the lead Systems Analyst and project coordinator of the information center Y2000 project; Project includes the following four applications:
• Motor Vehicles Follow-up System -(9 functions & 180 prog. )
• Distribution Faults Follow-up System-(6 functions &130 prog)
• Generation Planning & control Sys. - (14 functions & 330 prog)
• Project Monitoring System - ( 9 functions &over 50 programs )
In addition to the coordination function, was involved in scanning, programming, testing, and cutover phases.
Participating, effectively, in the following projects:
• Building of the SEC-COA Data Warehousing (phase I) for the scheme & Billing systems; joined to the technical committee of the project.
• Customizing the maintenance package MAXIMO (product of MRO), to be used for the transportation department of SEC-Central Operating Area.
