a) Pre-Contract Stage:
• Bid analysis to ensure sufficient contractual / legal information available for tender preparation.
• Provide advice to staff in relation to tendering and contract processes.
• Attend daily matters including correspondence, memos, conference calls, and liaising with partners/ contractors/suppliers.
• Draft correspondences with Clients / partners.
• Identify the contractual/commercial risks associated with tenders.
• Prepare and advise the contractual and commercial bases of pricing.
• Prepare and calculate the tenders’ commercial figures (including bonds calculations, insurance policies, ….etc) including coordination with different company departments.
• Prepare of the required cash flow.
• Study and analysis the tender prices escalation during the bid validity and the Project proposed duration.
• Draft and review of partnership agreements (Memorandum of Understanding, Joint Venture, Consortiums etc..).
• Negotiate of partnership agreements with partners.
• Negotiate with the Clients / Project Manager Office the contractual/commercial clarifications.
• Prepare documentation required before contract award.
• Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-contract and post contract matters.
• Prepare reports and supporting documents to identify areas requiring more information to ensure that the company is positioned to win and secure bids.
• Liaise with Clients, suppliers and manage daily correspondences among the stakeholders.

b) Post-Contract Stage:
• Monitor, supervise and ensure the compliance with the construction and other related contracts of the project and advise to the Project Manager accordingly.
• Prepare and handle the contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to the project execution and the construction contract.
• Ensure compliance to contractual obligations towards the Client during project execution and reports to the Management.
• Monitor and identify all contractual and law related matters occurring at project level and refers same to the Project Management.
• Prepare specific Contracts and other legal documents with Third Parties based on standard templates.
• Review proposals from suppliers/subcontractors and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications from contractual point of view.
• Prepare or comment the minutes of meeting of Progress Meetings with the Client and/or JV/Consortium Partners.
• Ensure good practice and strict controls are implemented in relation to change orders, variations, claims, etc.
• Prepare and draft claims and variation to the Client.
• Keep and maintain database related to main contract including variations, site instructions (SI), request for proposals (RFPs) and claims.
• Draft and prepare LOA, subcontract agreements including relevant schedules and appendices.
• Prepare subcontractors payment certificates/invoices.
• Review, analysis and validate of the subcontractors’ variations and claims.
• Maintain and update the project records.
