Project: Support to Civil Reform and Management capacity of Public Administration Phase II, Lebanon
Scope/Objective:
- Project aims at supporting civil service reform initiatives that are undertaken by OMSAR to modernize public sector organizations by providing them with the latest management tools, to boost the technical and managerial capacity of municipalities
- Design, construction and equipment of sanitary landfills and Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) facilities throughout Lebanon- Funded by EU Grants.
- Ensure sustainability of operation and maintenance of the already constructed SWM facilities - OMSAR has secured funding from the national treasury of the Lebanese Government for (O&M) phase.
- Support, as a civil engineer, the SWMP core team through providing engineering and technical input in all phases of project planning, management and execution.
Job role: Management and Supervision.
Key functions:
- Provide engineering and technical advice;
- Work in close coordination with the SWMP team, the procurement team, and the waste management specialists to formulate the concept and detailed design of different project phases; and liaise with the stakeholders including local government and community during all phases of the project;
- Monitor performance of the Consultant/Supplier/Construction Contractors in line with the conditions of contract;
- Develop a quality assurance mechanism and on-site construction supervision plan;
- Participate in tender evaluation and acceptance committees pertaining to SWM projects;
- Prepare/review necessary TOR’s, reports, annual work plans, and budgets; technical submittals and work schedules
- Perform any other duties or specific functions as deemed necessary.

Main achievements:
- Baalbeck and Srar-Akkar: Construction of MBT facilities (structure and related infrastructure) in addition to supply/installation of equipment as required by the Contract documents;
- Construction of new Sanitary Landfills in two lots: Baalbeck, Joub Jannine and Srar-Akkar in accordance to Contract documents;
- Monitoring/assessment of the ongoing operation and maintenance activities mainly in Baalbeck, Bar Elias, Zahle and Joub Jannine facilities;
- Providing engineering support for the redesign of newly located sanitary landfill in Srar-Akkar;
- Final acceptance of the constructed works in Zahle (MBT facility) and Joub Jannine (MBT equipment, administrative building, and infrastructure);
- Participating in training courses related to ‘Modernizing Public Procurement’ and training workshops related to SWM (capacity building to municipalities / local government through awareness campaigns and training workshops).

Project: Dualization of BIDBID-SUR Road- Section1 - Package 1B, Sultanate of Oman
Scope of work:
- Construction of 75 Km new Dual Carriageway with all road furniture
- Protection works on high Embankments and Cut slopes assuring tectonic stability and water resistance
- Construction of Interchange bridges/ramps & Overpasses and Roundabouts
- Reinstatement and rehabilitation of Borrow pits as specified by MOE and in accordance to standards and regulations
Actual status/Achievement:
- Main Carriageway is completed, and overall work progress is 95%
Job role:
- RESIDENT ENGINEER.

Project: Dualization of Mahdah - Al Rawdah Road in the Governorate of Buraimi- Sultanate of Oman
Scope of work:
- Construction of 58 Km new Dual Carriageway with all road furniture and protection works on Embankment and Cut slopes
- Construction of Interchange Bridges/ramps & Underpasses (eight locations) and Roundabouts (14 locations)
- Rehabilitation of Borrow pits in accordance to standards and regulations
Achievement:
- Overall Work 100% is completed

Project: TRILLIUM BEIRUT- Achrafieh 5652
Scope of work:
-Two high-rise Towers consisted of 26 stories and 20 stories consecutively (90 residential apartments and 4 common basements)
-An adjacent low- rise commercial building (showrooms/office spaces) consisted of eight stories and 4 basements.

Achievement:
-Management and Supervision of Concrete works
-MEP/Finishing works Execution.

Project: Two Deep water Berths- King Abdul Aziz Port- Dammam

Scope of work:
-Consists of Construction of 620 meters of two deep berths (-22m)
-Coordination and follow up design and geotechnical investigation
-Casting/ Installation of Precast Blocks

-Rockfill and backfilling
-Marine works

-Preliminary Design of a “Sale polyvalente” in Jwaya (area=950 sqm)
-Short term mission with UNDP_Tripoli: Feasibility study / assessment and solutions to the rehabilitation of existing sewage/rainwater and irrigation system in areas adjacent to Beddawi and Nahr Bared Camps, North _Lebanon.
-Construction of a 14 stories residential building at Beirut Barbir- Darwish Investment.

Project:
Preparation and implementation of local development projects- LOGO II” in 12 municipal clusters or “Unions” all over Lebanon. The Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR) is in charge of implementing/managing the project “LOGO” financed by EC (European Commission) grants to the 12 municipal Clusters.

- Management and supervision: of all executed works related to the project “REHABILITATION AND REFURBISHMENT of LOCAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICES” in eight municipal clusters
