Responsible for soliciting and analyzing quotes, issuing of purchase orders and coordinating forecasting, planning, material drive and logistics activities with the contract manufacturer yielding successful support of new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing products.
Additional responsibilities include measurement and reporting of key performance index (KPI) and implementation of continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Work closely with product development and Program Managers in both New Product Development as well as established program requirements.
Manage/coordinate/resolve related administrative activities associated with logistics, invoicing and materials management.
Participate in Pre sales and operation planning (S&OP) and S&OP meetings; decide on build and fulfillment plan, execution, and minimization of excess inventory.
Participate in the development and introduction of optimum strategies in accordance with Company’s objectives.
