20 years experience in Oil & Gas industry as a Rotating Equipment Engineer (with vibration analysis skills) and during my career I involved in the following duties:
• Sound experience in implementing and carrying out predictive maintenance program (Vibration and oil analysis & diagnosis) of rotating machinery.
• Extensive knowledge in improving reliability and operational availability of rotating equipment and doing reliability studies to determine the root cause of failure.
• Plans and supervises execution of daily work program for rotating equipment includes preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting of the rotating equipment problems and Failure Analysis.
• Condition Monitoring including Vibration analysis and diagnostics with using Enpac 2500 and software Emonitor Version 3.2 and System1, Valve passing inspection with using 5131 AE Leak Detector, Thermograph inspection with using Infrared cameras FLIR P60 and Oil Analysis.
• Familiar with API standards relating to all classes of rotating equipment.
• Plans maintenance repairs or overhauls in areas of responsibilities.
• Prepares scope of work to be offered for tendering by contractors.
• To schedule the job based on the operating conditions and execute with optimum cost and safety.
• Evaluate and study engineering, design and development for mechanical systems according with API standards.
• Carries out technical evaluation of contractor’s bids according to API standards.
• Perform PPM checks of rotating equipment such as gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and process pumps.
• Review the required material for unit shutdown and raises purchase requisitions to material / purchasing department and approves within delegated authority.
