Worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and was the Lead Developer in the development team of the project OYSTER (an open source entity resolution system) reporting directly to the Information Quality Department Head at University of AR. In this position, I have worked to improve functionality of an existing data quality and entity resolution product, which is currently in production for version 3.4 and is used by Arkansas Department of Education, Arkansas Department of Information systems, University of AR Medical Sciences. My work included adding functionalities like memory management, developing a data profiler, visualizing data and enhancing the performance of the application. Oyster is the only Entity Resolution system, which has the feature of supporting Entity Identity Information Management. This is a critical element in a Master Data Management System.
• July 2011 - Dec 2011 - Trained at CTS (Cognizant Technology Solutions) as an Application Developer for an insurance firm using JAVA as Front End and Oracle as Back End. Although not a job requirement, during this time I focused on acquiring the certifications listed above.
• May 2010 - July 2010 - Worked at DCM Datasystems as a Project Intern on a Resource Tracking System. This is a software application, which is used for maintaining a candidate's details and finding the probability of identifying leads for the company. Technologies Used: Front End: Java, Back End: Oracle. Platforms Used: UNIX, Windows.
