Duties are included parts department managing, and supply of vehicle parts.
We achieved parts sales volumes and profit objectives through
motivating and developing the parts team and ensuring that
each customer receives excellent customer service.
• Responsible for managing Brilliance parts department.
• Providing an effective and timely parts service to both internal and external customers of Chinese Branch - Brilliance.
• My challenges are: Setting and maintaining stock levels & ensuring delivery to customers is on time.
• Approve budgets.
• Oversee regional and local sales managers and their staffs.
• Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
• Determine price schedules and discount rates.
• Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
• Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products, services.
• Plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
• Responsible for managing parts sales of commercial trucks (Volvo, Scania and Mitsubishi)
• Manage and control inventories to ensure availability of parts and customer satisfaction
• Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met .
• Responsible for efficient running of the Parts Dept. including parts salesmen and warehouse - men
• Maintaining optimum parts availability so as to maximize stock efficiency.
• Ensure effective after sales service through performing effective communication with in-house divisions of vehicle sales and service as well as the supplier.
• Responsible for ordering BMW parts (Sea freight & Air freight orders).
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse.
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs.
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
• Quote prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications.
• Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product .
• Negotiate prices or terms of sales agreements.
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, and attending trade shows and conferences.
• Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
• Inspect motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists
