1) Analyzing and solving field problems in accordance with the necessary coordination with MTN service center.

2) To give clear and full detailed reports of field errors.

3) To collect all data's related to telecommunications (GSM) towers to ensure the proper performance of towers.

4) Ability to identify the location of field through GPS technology.

5) To supervise the field in terms of proper method, material reservation and optimum output of labors.

6) Implementing quality assurance standards to meet all standards which specified by MTN

Training Responsibilities:
A. General overview of GSM network components and interaction between them.

B. Good knowledge of radio equipment (BTSs).

C. Good experience in TX equipment especially the PDH links and well knowledge of SDH links.

D. Overview of fiber optics equipment’s (SDH MUX).

E. Overview of transmission digital hierarchy.

F. Good knowledge of site implementation including CW, GSM equipment instillation and TX connection.

G. Overview of BSS and OMC systems in coordination with Operation team.

H. Overview of VAS systems including MMS, SMS and GPRS in coordination with Operations team.
