•Develop and implement a strategic and annual Enterprise Risk Management plan.
•Develop and implement risk assessment methodologies, models and systems.
•Assess and maintain the risk maturity profile of the organization.
•Facilitate the compilation of strategic, project & operational risk registers.
•Facilitate the identification of risks utilizing appropriate tools and techniques then facilitate the assessment of identified risks.
•Facilitate the development of risk response strategies (mitigation plans)
•Report all relevant Enterprise Risk Management matters including; findings, risk positions and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
•Maintain a risk management and BCM philosophy and culture within the Company.
•Manage the coordination of risk management with all assurance providers and coordinate the activities of the Risk Management Committee and perform the Secretariat function.
•Document and ensure the communication of Key Risks to all departments
•Consult different departments to ensure that risk assessment process is part of day to day activities.
•Incident detection, gathering, investigation, analyze, classifying, perform root cause analysis and recording.
•Participate in a resolution of those incidents that cannot be resolved quickly by the help desk or by designated technical support groups in order to restore the service in an acceptable time frame.
•Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Risk Management, Business Continuity and Information Security.
#Participate in the BCM program to to ensure limited business interruption to critical business operations, services and assets.
#Conducting high and detailed levels of business impact analysis for the whole company business units and functions to identify business risks and exposure to identify and address operations and strategic priorities and inter-dependencies in planning business continuity and disaster recovery.
Monitor and acknowledge alarms from all Radio Network elements in and after normal working hours, weekend and public holidays to ensure optimal network performance and meeting business objectives and plans at all times.
Real Time Performance monitoring of all network elements effectively and provide daily reports for the next action to be carried out to improve network quality.
Assume responsibility for correctly forwarding trouble tickets issued against all Zain and outsource staff. Also ensure that those tickets are resolved within specified period.
Identify malfunctioning of network element for overall efficiency and trouble spots using various Ericsson and Huawei tools such as OSS-RC and iManager M2000 and some in-house developed tools.
Managing and following up all subcontractor activities for rolling out new sites (New sites civil work, New sites Telecom Equipment installation and New sites integration)
Managing and following up all subcontractor activities for modernization existing sites from 2G to 3G service.
Ensuring continuous 24/7 network supervision of all Core Network nodes and segments.
Coordinated with senior level engineering group and site contacts for resolving all technical issues.
Carrying out all regular O&M routines and preventive maintenance activities so as to minimize system downtime, such as: system backups, routine hardware tests, monitoring the availability of network resources and capacities, switching and compression systems health check ... etc.
Providing 1st line O&M including accurate and timely problem remedy, escalation, and resolution of any failures in the shortest possible time and within set reaction and remedy Time targets applicable to various fault categories.
Following up on remedial efforts, until closure of the trouble ticket or NMC shift handover.
Performing assessment, implementation and review of change requests in accordance with change management processes.
Informing affected parties (customer care, interconnecting operators, and similar) of network service outages and degradations (whether planned or not), their extent and anticipated duration, as well as of eventual remedy.
Gathering statistical network performance data for performance analysis .
Insure compliance with all applicable policies & regular requirements on Information Security.
Monitoring MSCe, MGW, GMSC, HLRe, PDSN, CRBT, VSAT and SDH Network and response to their alarms and following up with the troubleshooting teams.
Preparing the following reports (MSCe Hourly Check report, CRBT Hourly Check report, IP Back Bone Daily Check report, Voice & Data Hourly Check report, SDH Daily Check report, MSCe Performance Whole Day report, MSCe Maximum Performance Whole Day report, MSCe Summery Traffic report, WCDMA Daily report).
