Duties & Responsibilities (Both Positions)
1- Receiving and Storing:
 Prepare appropriate storage areas prior to goods arrival.
 Supervise the unloading process and ensure all equipment is ready to receive materials.
 Follow proper preservation methods based on material type (ventilation, lighting, etc.).
 Ensure all shelf cards are accurate and up-to-date (item name, code, barcode, current balance).
 Conduct material inspections and prepare material inspection forms.
 Enforce all safety and security procedures including use of PPE, safety signage, and handling tools.
2- Warehouse Control:
 Approve purchase requisitions after verifying actual stock across all warehouses.
 Match received quantities against purchase orders and update order balances.
 Monitor stock levels and reorder points for raw materials.
 Continuously reconcile system balances with physical stock.
 Identify and list obsolete or expired items and submit reports for management review.
 Prepare scrap sales lists and get approvals from the designated sales committee.
 Track personal tools, fixed assets (e.g., computers, printers) assigned to staff and process clearance upon exit.
3- Regular Reports:
 Reconcile inventory cost (in detail) with the general ledger.
 Provide analytical reports on equipment and material consumption (diesel, oil, spare parts).
 Issue safety equipment and prepare issuance reports with full details (date, status, quantity, etc.).
 Generate cost reports of issued materials categorized by project and material group.
 Prepare contractor withdrawal reports with quantity, price, and related project.
 Perform item cost pricing including additional costs like shipping, clearance, and customs.
4- Inventory Accounting:
 Record all warehouse transactions into the system including:
o Supplier Deliveries & Invoices
o Petty Cash Transactions
o Material Returns and Transfers
o Material Issuance to Sites
o Contractor Withdrawals
o Supplier Returns
o Scrap Sales and Adjustments
