-Member of the factory's leadership team, managing the factory's production operations of 5 production lines, processing area and LPG tank farm reporting directly to the plant manager.
-Responsible for the deployment and implementation of the Autonomous Maintenance Pillar (Standard Daily Work) within the site.
- SAP Manufacturing and Quality Management Super User.
-LPG capacity increase project start-up leader.
-Site Machine Guarding process owner.
Responsible for the implementation and deployement of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) within Mars' OCT factory.
Responsible for the planning, monitoring, controlling and the reporting of the Factory's Capital Budget/Spend.
Responsible for the implementation and deployment of the Focused Improvement Pillar within Nestle’s Dry Goods Factory in Egypt.
The Pillar is part of the TPM (Total Performance Management) and is concerned with the following:
Support the efforts of Markets to identify, analyze and eliminate losses through:
• The systematic application of problem solving methodologies (Go-See-Think-Do, all DMAIC levels)
• The execution of Focused Improvement projects
• Build the appropriate capabilities to execute these projects and provide ad hoc coaching through the pillar structure
• Develop capability required to support strategic goals of the Technical function & Factory
• Promote the linkages between the FI Pillar and other Pillars according to the environment
• Support the other pillars' goals with problem solving methodologies (GSTD and Basic DMAIC 1) and coaching:
-AM (Autonomous Maintenance) - Reducing minor stoppages, sources of contamination, etc.
- PM (Planned Maintenance)- Reducing breakdowns
- ET (Education & Training) - Reducing competence gaps.
-Quality - Reducing product defects, etc.
-SH&E - Eliminate accidents, illnesses and improve environmental sustainability.
Managing a team of quality engineers, quality technicians and inspectors handling world class automotive first tier customers such as Denso, Koito, Hella, Automotive Lighting, Johnson Controls, Lear, etc...in Europe and North America.
The scope included but not limited to the following:
- Handling new projects introduction from a quality perspective, ensuring all customer requirements are met as per the per-identified design and specifications; through the application of versatile tools such as Process FMEA, Process Capability analysis, Control plans, etc...
- Ongoing operations Quality Control through defects data collection and reporting, root cause analysis, coordinating and implementing corrective and preventive actions as required, issuing and updating control plans and process audits.
- Handling customer complaints, carrying out containment actions, root cause analysis, short term actions, long term actions, verification and validation of actions and replication as required and Issuing 8D reports to the customers.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO TS16949 and handling audits as required.
- Internal audit team member.
- Managing and reporting the non-quality cost.
- Toyota Kata pilot implementation team member using tools such as value stream mapping, work load balance, kanban, PDCA, layout optimization, etc... to achieve continuous flow and eventually one piece flow.
Billing, charging and technical support for vodafone UK customers, the job description includes but not limited to:
