I'm IT manager working at Protection For Contracting Company responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.
The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.
Responsibilities
Manage information technology and computer systems
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
Manage staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time Audit systems and assess their outcomes Preserve assets, information security and control structures Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Perform diagnosis of network health, taking a general problem statement from a EUS down to
a specific issue.
•Monitoring the network proactively also often implements changes that may be occurred in order to help in troubleshooting.
•The ability to analyze a
network design document, extrapolate that design into the complete detailed implementation plan, including completed configurations for each router and switch.
•The ability to analyze a design document and discover the missing items.
•The ability to perform a peer review on another engineer’s implementation plan, to discover weaknesses and omissions in the planned configurations, and to update the implementation plan.
•The ability to build a verification plan that lists the specific show commands and command options that list key pieces of information.
•The ability to write a verification plan that can be understood
and used by a less experienced worker.
•The ability to perform a peer review on another engineer’s verification plan, to discover which key design features are not verified by that plan, and to discover inaccuracies in the plan.
•Focuses on project work related to network office, including the detailed planning for new configurations to support new sites, new network features, and new sites in the network.
•Focusing on gathering requirements from internal and external customers, translating those requirements into a network design and even doing proof-of-concept testing—but leaving the details of how to deploy the design for all required sites to the network engineering team.
•Implement and maintain all network, and network security to meet the organization's
current and future requirements.
•Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
•Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
•Installation and administration of network-related infrastructure including - switches, routers, firewalls WAN optimizers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN and QoS.
Administration of network protocols and technologies.
•Maintain and support
LAN/WAN environment.
Help desk support Troubleshoot all technology issues.
Maintenance Checker. Install operating system and new software.
Coordinate paperwork and report.
Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.
Train staff about potential uses of existing technology.
Train staff about new and
potential use.
Provide individual training and support on request.
Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.
Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware such as (pc, laptop, Servers, prointers, and software and resources.
