• Managed all aspects of spare parts - budgeting, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, sales and distribution for 5 franchises including Volvo (buses & trucks), Volvo Construction Equipment, Mitsubishi Fuso (CVs, LCVs, minibuses & buses), Iveco buses and Sino Truck trucks.
• Developed and implemented effective strategic plans to deliver all business goals and objectives of sales, revenue, profitability, customer service and growth.
• Conducted market research to identify and validate new business opportunities and followed up with appropriate action plans.

Geely Spare Parts Department Manager
• Managed spare parts operations for Geely passenger cars in Egypt covering budgeting, purchasing, logistics and sales.
• Established the spare parts business for the new franchise and ensured availability of parts at attractive prices prior to launch of Geely cars in the market.
OEM & New Projects Sales Manager
• Supported the Hyundai aftersales team in resolving crisis due to price war with non-genuine parts dealers.
• Managed sourcing of all parts from South East Asia especially South Korea by identifying and striking cost-effective deals with potential vendors.
• Established a network of authorized wholesalers and dealers and successfully increased the market share of genuine parts.
Monroe and Bosch Sales Manager
• Built brand awareness for Monroe range of ride control performance products by visiting all small and medium size workshops in Cairo, Delta, Alexandria and Upper Egypt areas to educate garage owners and technicians.
• Established a network of 40 Monroe branded jobbers across Egypt and trained jobbers and garage owners on effective selling skills to persuade end users to install Monroe shock absorbers.
• Implemented effective plans to liquidate stocks of Bosch products.
Bosch Sales Supervisor
• Managed sales of Bosch spare parts and garage test equipment dealing with all commercial activities in in-house workshops (for diesel, Jetronic & electronic fuel injection systems) and external sales.
• Developed network of 6 Bosch Service centers in addition to Ghabbour (3 in Cairo, 1 in Delta and 2 in Alexandria)
• Supervised sales of Monroe automotive parts through points of sale (POS) including installers and branded jobbers.
• Surveyed and assessed market potential, selected, validated, trained and upgraded POSs to meet company growth objectives.
• Gathered market information and promoted Monroe products with or without trade-in orders through planned daily visits to the POSs.
• Implemented sales plans to generate incremental sales by providing best standards of quality support to distribution partners.
• Monitored inventories of Monroe parts at distribution partners ensuring optimum stocks to meet demand aligned to financial capabilities of the client.
• Managed the company’s fleet of 30 passenger carriers and 9 LCVs dealing with fleet operations, maintenance, spare parts procurement, cost control and management reporting.
• Represented the company and liaised with Egyptian government authorities for obtaining visas & security passes for American staff as well as for arranging regular meetings and annual conferences with the company’s American experts.
• Established and managed warehouses of spare parts at sites of the customer - Government of Egypt - and maintained inventories using computerized system.
