• Able to handle audits independently to ensure, prepare audit reports,
attend to client queries, perform technical review of audit reports.
• Performing audits to verify compliance with recognized / legally
required standards at client’s project.
• Examining records, reports, receipts, or other documents and
comparing them to company assets and liabilities.
• Handling additional duties to ensure the business is operating
efficiently and in compliance with all current regulations.
• Ensure management of all hazardous waste and maintain records of the
same.
• Develop and implement efficient operations emergency response plans
and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations.
• monitoring the investigation of accidents and injuries; ensuring that
corrective actions are taken and providing recommendations for ways
to prevent similar accidents.
• Ensure that an adequate program of training for health and safety is
established and that the safety culture is encouraged amongst
employees.

Develop, lead approval committee and publish company HSSE Manual, training materials, procedures and templates.
Organize informative training programmes for technical and site teams to increase their knowledge and work proficiencies of risk and safety management.
Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify and mitigate high-potential risk factors.
Maintain hazardous waste management and ensure that all wastes are classified and neutralized before disposal.
Review environmental policy and ensure compliance with Saudi Environmental Law.
Conduct environmental impact assessment and periodically report it to management and conduct environmental audits.
Development of a safety - oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous high performance.
Manage compliance to regulatory, company, and client requirements
Liaise with parent company and Group Level organizations.
Participate in prequalification and bid documents regarding HSSE input
Assist Project Management and Project HSSE with providing HSSE assurance to Clients and Projects, including participation in HSSE coordination meetings as required.
Manage inventory and stocking, distribution, checkout and condition of service for company PPE for all company personnel needs. Ensure employee training and certifications on proper PPE usage, care and custody.
Perform periodic site visits of active company construction management projects to ensure direct employee compliance with minimum company practices, procedures and HSSE requirements.
Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses to establish the cause and recommend actions to prevent re - occurrence.
Develop, lead management approval team, publish, and maintain company emergency response plans including evacuation, building security, emergency contacts, etc.
Manage and direct company Safety Officer(s) and security contractors in execution of building security, access control and evacuation response.

Supervises day-to-day activities of EHS team within a particular construction workplace.
Ensures that workers make use of necessary protective equipment like helmets, hand gloves, welding shades etc., where and when necessary.
Arranges training programs on safety measures within the workplace.
Serves as a link between contractors and top management when it comes to issues that have to do with the safety and proper organization of the workplace.
Lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the projects and in their professional development.
Document and investigate accidents or injuries,
Provide records or evidence as required, and implement corrective measures meant to reduce future risk.
Monitor contractor’s field activities to verify the work is being performed in compliance with approved safety plan, client policies and industry best practices.
Chair safety meetings; Prepare and distribute meeting minutes for contractor safety meetings.
Report all serious conditions or accidents to client’s EH&S office and responding departments as required.
Review and recommend revisions, as required, to client’s construction safety procedures.
Support project managers in project risk assessments, site safety plans and job safety analysis reviews.
Review contractor safety performance to confirm contractor safety programs meet minimum client requirements for work on site.
Provide site orientation to contractors working on site.
Monitor compliance with the Safe Systems of Work, confirm contractor safety plans and initiate supplemental permits.

Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes
Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
Assign day-to-day HSE related tasks to the site HSE Officers.
Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly and safely
Writing internal health and safety policies and strategies
Drawing-up safe operational procedures (SOPs).
Making regular site inspections and Audits.
Making recommendations following accidents and incidents
Making presentations to groups of employees/managers.
Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers
Investigating and recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health
Writing reports, bulletins.
