Opening new DCs. & Advising Export LCS
-Examining Docs received under DCs Imports & Exports.
-Collecting commissions of all types of documents & direct them to the
proper tunnel.
-Booking the deferred documents to the proper maturity, for further
follow-up.
Up sell, cross sell and market special offers and services tailor made by retail line
made by retail line of business.
- Sell and market branch products and services to meet target assigned
- Conduct the right customer identity verification and authentication.
- Answer customers inquiries and handover customers request to the back office
within the agreed service level.
- Ensure customers request are executed within the right channel.
- Conduct follow up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate potential sales leads to Call Center Supervisor.
- Issuing certificates of saving and reviewing each category.
Manage & Control timely/accurate processing of all export/import & other
trade items in order to achieve quality standards of service & accuracy.
- provide value added consultative Trade Finance services to customers,
business groups.
- Assist in preparing department statistics whenever needed.
- Accurately and timely manage, control and process all trade finance instruments, ensuring
conformity and strict compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures, and ICC / UCP
regulations
and local markets practices / regulatory requirements for all types of documentary credits
in order
to achieve quality standards of service.
- Process trade finance and guarantee application, documents and correspondence as per
established work instructions to ensure that error fee services are delivered to customers
within
prescribed turnaround response time.
- Provide value added consultative trade finance services advice to customers, business
teams,
overseas branches (insofar as Egyptian practices are concerned) & correspondents.
- Full comprehension and continuous update of the knowledge base for international
uniform
Customs and Practices issued by the International Chamber of Commerce, ICC Paris
publications
in trade finance operations with respect to:
● Uniform customs and practice documentary credits (UCP).
● Uniform Rules for Reimbursement system under documentary credits URR.
● Uniform rules for collections (URC).
● The international standard banking practice for examination of documents ISBP 745.
● Uniform rules for demand guarantees URDG.
● (Incoterms) International commercial terms.
● International Standby practices ISP 98.
- Analyze, develop approve and implement procedures and processes within the Unit, and
document according to ISO 9002 standards.
- Before processing any instrument, verify & ensure that customers / correspondents are not
under any sanctions (OFAC).
- Obtain proper prior approvals to add our confirmation to Export L/Cs.
- Record import & export LCs, LGs, loans TRs (Trust Receipts) on bank’s system and
produce customer advices.
- Follow up with foreign / local correspondents to track payment of ODBCs.
- Follow up with customers to provide settlement instructions for IDBCs.
- Examine all import & export shipping documents to determine their compliance with the
LC terms & conditions.
- Negotiate export L/Cs and dispatch them to correspondents by courier after examination.
- Check the account statements on daily basis to ensure that export proceeds are already
paid.
- Manage workflow volumes to comply with delivery standards vs. tight banking hours.
- Use of discretion and expertise within bank’s policy, customer limits and international
rules
governing documentary credit, guarantees and collections.
- Coordinate with Manager Trade Finance for the regular training of team members in
products, procedures and rules to achieve standard quality and productivity standards.
