Production management professional with over 3 years experience in
large, fast-paced, multi-line facilities. Proven track record of achieving
sustained improvements in quality, cost and delivery functions.
Demonstrated ability to:
− Manage 200 employees and use them maximum productive
efficiency with the highest standards of quality
− effectively lead, coach and develop a large work team to
accomplish operational objectives.
− identify, diagnose and resolve operational, manufacturing and
maintenance problems within deadlines.
− plan work flow, manage multiple priorities and meet daily
production targets while consistently reducing downtime.
− develop new procedures and processes to improve production
accuracy.
− set up health and safety audit procedures and improve safety
efficiencies.
− competently utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC and
related process improvement techniques to ensure the most cost-
effective manufacturing process.
− establish and maintain acceptable quality levels for all assigned
products.

Measuring, examining, testing and gauging one or more
characteristics of a product or service and make a comparison
with specified requirements to determine conformity of the job
done.
− Verifying weld spatter and all other surface irregularities has been
removed prior to blasting.
− Compressed air used for abrasive blasting to be checked as per
standard.
− Monitor size, shape, dryness and cleanliness of the abrasive.
− Monitor air pressure and nozzle size of blasting equipment.
− Monitor weather condition for surface preparation and coatings’
application.
− Conducting pre-blast inspections and ensuring that the surface is
free from grease, oil and other contaminants.
− Ensuring that the Surface cleanliness and Anchor profile are as
per client’s requirement and SSPC/ISO Standard.
− Responsible for incoming paint material inspection and have to
ensure that the materials meet the Project Specification
requirements. Monitor and ensure the paint materials are stored in
good condition.
− Check the paint drum (manufacturer, paint name, batch number,
batch certificate, expiry date etc.) and record the data.
− To check and monitor all painting related works and ensure all
final products meet in accordance with company procedure, client
requirements and international codes.
− Overlook the performance of Blasters and Painters.
− Check that adequate and proper repair of all defects, if any, has
been undertaken.
− Check paint/coating color, appearances, and shade uniformity.
− Preparation of Inspection reports and Test reports.
− Overall monitoring and supervision of the blasting and coating
activities of fabricated steel at the Painting Yard.
− Ensure stringent adherence to quality standards, norms &
practices, identifying gaps & taking corrective actions; directed
team with guidance on resolving performance bottlenecks.
− Advising the project painting supervisors on the coating system
and application of the coatings, thereby improving process
efficiency.
− Ensuring the quality and progress of the job with strict adherence
to company and contractor procedures and specifications.
Ensuring that the work scopes are carried out to the highest HSE
Standards. Ensuring necessary HSE reviews are undertaken and identified
actions completed.
