- Gather requirements from Business Customers and design Functional requirements document.
- Design data flow and Data architecture.
- Support Credit Bureau with Customer and Loans info of the Bank in a periodical way.
- Support 24X7 operational Jobs and Reports that serve customers, Executives with needed data to take the suitable decisions.
- Support in building new subject areas for Data Warehouse Model.
- Manage team of Informatica Developers and assign tasks for the team members
- Building up and develop the ODS (Operational Data Store) environment. ODS is an integrated database of operational data. Its sources include legacy systems and current/real time data.
- Installing and administration of PowerCenter and PowerExchange (Change Data Capture).
- Mastering DataStage and Teradata (Teradata Communications Logical Data Model).
- Provide 24x7 operations and support for all ETL amendments and reporting.
- Review/enhance current SLAs and develop needed ones for supported applications.
- Work with IT Infrastructure management, technical support specialists, and other team members to ensure optimum IT Infrastructure environment performance, security, and availability at all times.
- Conduct Regular Data quality checks to avoid duplications or abnormalities and perform data cleansing to address data quality or integrity issues.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Informatica application problems to minimize Applications downtime and optimize the application performance.
- Create procedures and SQL Scripts that create, extract and validate data using Oracle 10g.
- Create automated solutions to monitor trends and no-run jobs as real time solutions using IBM Data Stage Jobs, Oracle PL/SQL and Unix scripts.
- Design models that satisfy business needs and requirements taking in consideration to be integrated with the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and then design the suitable testing scenarios
- Design Quality Gates which is generic solution for adding new alarm to check trends, counts in (Jobs, source tables, target table, etc.) by comparing it with threshold percentage or number and send the alarm to escalation matrix until support update it with solved with agreed SLA.
- Working as second line of support by investigating and fixing issues that appears at the production time.
- Develop validation/Extraction jobs using IBM DataStage Extraction tool.
- Implement Core bank migration “Essentis and legacy” to IFLEX phase 1 customer information area using ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) and manual Scripts.
- Validate extracted data to EDW which meets the requirements of the customer by comparing source/target counts vs transformation rules
- Make scheduled alarms and alerts that run at specific time to ensure running jobs and also counts of source vs. target.
