• Responsible to achieve the revenue targets for a given portfolio of brands by ensuring full understanding and execution of brand, customer and account plans
• Lead, coach and motivate the assigned team of 5 professional medical representatives
• Responsible for recruitment, training, development and the management of performance. Ensure that the team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform and execute effectively
• Shape the culture of performance, empowerment, accountability, innovation, customer focus and execution
• Proactively manage opportunities/potential risks in order to minimize downsides and maximize upsides variances from the revenue targets
• Prepare and submit the territory annual & revised sales forecast, budget & best estimate for the assigned portfolio by account and sector
• Prepare and implement the brand positioning in coordination with marketing and medical colleagues
• Develop constructive internal and cross functional relationships to facilitate team working, the exchange of information, customer knowledge and the development of business opportunities
• Collaborate with key account managers and logistics department to manage distributors for optimization of the inventory levels and any related debit notes
• Work with field force effectiveness manager to implement and sustain customer centric selling and other FFE initiatives
• Ensure compliance to FCPA
• Prepare business plan, assigns targets and communicates required actions to achieve goals for HIV business
• Work cooperatively with Medical, Marketing and other internal Gilead team members on various cross-functional projects
• xKam for Tawam, SKMC, Rashid, MOH UAE, & SQUH
• Stakeholder mapping and setting plan of actions to achieve the desired the SMART objectives in each account and review the plans regularly
• Regularly measures success documents and provides feedback on performance from UAE (SEHA, DHA, MOH, Private) & Oman (MOH & SQUH)
• Assist, mentor and develop the distributor sales representative in Oman
• Align the objectives to meet the annual sales target
• Follow up on the application of key selling techniques
- Establish Gilead Sciences as a key player in hematology/oncology field
- Achieve coverage and frequency targets, and consistently achieving sales targets
- Facilitate patient access to Zydelig
- Promote and participate in setting the annual marketing plan for AmBisome
• Promoted the Oncology products along agreed business and therapeutic lines priorities through the implementation of annual marketing plans
• Assisted in implementing marketing programs for assigned products / therapeutic lines identified appropriate for professional marketing
• Promoted Oncology products to a number of key assigned customers in order to achieve assigned sales budgets
• Managed a key designated territory in order to ensure that visits are in line with the full potential of the market
• Assisted in forecasting business and market needs related to the area of specialization
• Responsible for vaccines sales activities in 4 geographical areas across Lebanon (Beirut, AUBMC, South & Bekaa)
• Responsible for Boostrix vaccine sales activities across all Lebanon
- Lead the team activities and promotion of the vaccine
- Deliver monthly revenue and sales forecast to the vaccine manager
- Map the market and launch new trade shows for the vaccine
- Monitor competitor's promotion, pricing, positioning and marketing
• Work with paediatricians, family practitioners, pharmacists and hospital pharmacists in generating new revenues while maintaining and growing existing business
• Focus on business development activities, identifying new markets and trade shows for GSK vaccines
