1.Representing the commissioning function at project meetings and commissioning review meetings.
2. Implement commissioning changes and the production of as built project documentation. Support continuous improvement of project process and product and system commissioning via provision of lessons learned feedback.
3. Support Project Managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.).
4. Create work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and proactively manages this work to deliver the agreed program on time, on quality and at targeted cost.
5. Coordinate site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification. Act as the ABB lead for commissioning activities on a project. Ensure that ABB is presented as a professional organization in all interactions with the customer.
6.Manage external organizations providing commissioning with equipment,
7.Systems or services (e.g. issues permits to work, provides guidance on health and safety requirements and work practices, accepts as complete work done).
8. Coach Associate Commissioning Engineers.
9. Use agreed processes and procedures to ensure that all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements.
10. Manage a small commissioning team.
11. Prepare project documentation for SAT (site acceptance test)
12.Obtain approvals from utilities for Commissioning activities of Protection Systems (Main and Back up relays including scheme testing).
13. Broad knowledge of ABB, ALSTOM, AREVA, SCHNIDER systems and the technical environment
14.Knowledge and experience of third party product and systems
15.Team work among co-workers, engineers, knowledge sharing and feedback sections at end of each project to avoid repeated works.
16. Follow excellent backup and documentation process throughout and prior to energization
17.Health & Safety - follow safety rules on construction sites according to regulations
18.Proactive coordination and reporting to senior commissioning engineer operationally and Commissioning Manager functionally.
1- Collect data, Analyze equipment behavior.
2- Making temporarily start up& shutdown for equipment.
3- Check line-up and availability of stand by equipments.
4- Analyze periodical data collected weekly.
5- Perform necessary checks before equipment start up.
6- Running the boiler, turbine and auxiliaries in good conditions to achieve the dispatch demand for most efficient and available load.
7- Supervise locking and unlocking with other colleagues.
8- Helping the maintenance department to complete their work in site

1. Factory Acceptance Test, Medium voltage, Low voltage Switchgear, GE MultilinProtection relays, Motor control center, Circuit Breakers, Surge Arresters, Isolating Phase Bus Duct, XLPE High Voltage Cables, Medium Voltage Cables.

11. Support the development of technical documentation (including but not limited to designs, testing, calculations, reports, standards, etc.) Utilizes and sometime assist with the development of procedures
