The company is a merger of two Alkhorayef companies, Trans Orient Modern Machinery (TOMM) and Al-Nakhil Paper Industries (APICO).
Since 1975 (TOMM) represented major Offset and Digital Printing Machines manufacturers, including Manroland, Bobst, Screen, Kulbus, Ferag, Meccanotecnica, Hohner and HP recently. (TOMM) distribute large-scale printing presses, sheet feed presses and web machines for newspaper and commercial production. (TOMM) also supplies converting machines for use in the packaging industry, cardboard die-cutting machines, folding machines and book binding equipment.
In addition, (TOMM) supplies a range of printing materials and consumables, including ink, plates, film, blankets and chemicals. Furthermore (TOMM) is the main supplier for the Saudi packaging industry.
Al-Nakhil Paper Industries (APICO) is the sole manufacturer of carbonless copy paper in the region and developed innovative packaging products, including a specially-coated board to protect food products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the activities of all functions involved in the Planning (Demand, Supply, and Production), Purchasing (Direct and Indirect Materials & Services), Manufacturing (Paper), warehousing (Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam) for two Alkhorayef companies (TOMM & APICO) from preparing the sales forecast (Paper SAR 150 Million, Machines SAR 120 Million, Consumables SAR 35 Million and Spare Parts SAR 15 Million) to the delivery of the product to commercial and government customer.
• Manage all aspects of paper manufacturing operations related to Al-Nakhil Paper Factory
• Manage inventory (SAR 90 Million) and establish financial costing controls to ensure (APS) is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
• Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team (70 subordinate) to optimize value of the entire function in creating a professional supply chain management group.
• Manage S&OP meetings with senior management to review the overall business performance
• Manage the performance of suppliers and continuously improvement programs, ensuring all KPIs are setup and on plan as per agreed criteria
• Lead sourcing and negotiation efforts for major contracts.
• Lead and coach others in maintaining excellence on quality control and ISO 9001system.

Infant Nutrition Division:
A joint venture between Almarai Company the largest integrated dairy foods company in the world and a leading Saudi dairy, food and beverage company in the Gulf Region and Mead Johnson Nutrition, the global leader in pediatric nutrition, develops, manufactures, markets and distributes more than 70 products in over 50 markets worldwide for over 100 years.

The new division has been established to produce infant formulas and children’s nutritional food products. The manufacturing unit is the first and the biggest plant for infant nutrition in the Middle East at a total cost of USD 200 million and being built on a 50, 000 sq. meter land in Al-Kharj -150 km from Riyadh - near Almarai facilities with all the modern facilities and making provision for the supply of products both to the local and GCC markets. The plant will be fully operational by end of April 2012 to produce one and half tons of infant food per hour.

Manage overall material management, inventory planning, logistics and supply operation for the company to ensure cost effective operation, suppliers base and optimum customer service level.
