Warehouse Manager ( Hamleys)
• Work closely with internal contacts such as merchandisers and regional managers to ensure a continuous stock flow from the Distribution Centre whilst improving productivity.
• Assist in budgeting process.
• Developing, motivating, appraising and training employees.
• Driving performance by removing obstacles, improving processes, and recommending solutions.
• Planning all inventory activities, appraising all procedures for controlling shrinkage and taking corrective action where necessary.
• Ensure all housekeeping and health & safety standards are consistent with company policy.
• Providing accurate information and support to Operations and Merchandising teams and liaising with outside service departments.
• Opening 3 new branches for the company.

• I work for all brands for Alshaya company ( Retails And non stock ) ( Mothercare, Next, Starbucks, Mac, The Body Shop, Top Shop Top Man, Va Va Voom, River Island, Oasis, Milano, Debenhams, Victoria's Secret , Payless, Coast, H&M )
• Co-ordinate with Shipping & IT Department.
• Co-ordinate with Merchandisers, regarding new shipments, follow up on stock damage during transit, storage/excess claims to be prepared, ensure stock is properly binned / tagged.
• Check that the Distribution Center meets fire regulations.
• Replace & Maintain damage equipment.
• Inform/guide Employees on company policies & procedures.
• File all goals & appraisal for Distribution Center team.
• Assist in maintaining a clean & well-organized Distribution Center, conducting inspection checks of areas.
• Keep Manager updated on day to day matters: seeks approval for employee overtime, advice on Employee & staffing problems, seek approval for all.
• Maintenances expenses, recommend resourcing levels to Manager, Plan staffing & supervise transfer of stock during sales & Plan & inform subordinates regarding stock take, cycle counts.
• Ensure that the right items are delivered .send store a list of new launches. Update merchandiser regarding OOS/IS on continuity lines.
• Plan & receive shipments status reports, advice of shipment sizes & stock allocations. Advise on & control stock allocation.
• Getting Stock & Bar code file from the Cute FTP System & Updating this in GFI system.
