Driving operational improvement, responsible for leading, directing and managing all site operations to ensure consistently high levels of performance, profitability and compliance. Manages the risk, quality, and progress of complex and/or large projects to organizational standards, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.

Duties:
• Managing all aspects of business operations.
• Participating in the recruitment and staff selection process.
• Planning and coordinating project work.
• Recommending and establishing new policies and procedures.
• Handling the logistics of the organization.
• Preparing budgets and inventories.
• Develops contingency plans in advance to mitigate potential risks.
• Ensuring that staff are smart and professional in their appearance at all times.
• Conducting annual performance reviews of all staff.
• Talking to individual staff members on a regular basis and motivating them to do better.
• Maintaining a clean, professional and safe working environment.
• Keeping an eye on the operational budget.
• Organizing departmental meetings, setting the agenda and then chairing those meetings.

Responsible for taking charge of small to large, mission critical projects from their original concept right through to their final implementation.

Duties;
 Discussing, understanding and making decisions regarding a wide array of complex project management issues.
 Presenting information and ideas to a variety of audiences.
 Identifying key stakeholders and understanding their expectations for a successful project.
 Highlighting project critical paths and major risks.
 Proactively identifying and addressing project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
 Developing a project work plan and calendar.
 Resolving project conflicts.
 Applying industry best practices in managing the day-to-day activities of projects.
 Driving consensus among project team leaders.

Thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements accordingly to realize each for the stakeholder
Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives.
Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback
Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately
Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to management
Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view.

monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure
Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion

as a Project Engineer my scope includes but not limited to the following:
