Position: Network & Information Security Administrator
Reporting Line: Network & Security Team Leader
Subordinate: 5 Helpdesk Specialists
-Planning, designing & implementing data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems.
-Documents system and network issues and resolution for future reference.
-Performs evaluation of network performance issues including: availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
-Troubleshoot and resolve production network issues.
-Ensure proper security, monitoring and alerting for our network infrastructure.
-Participate in managing all network security solutions, perform security audits, and equipment audits, backups and recovery.
