• Supervises audit assignments, reviews quarterly progress reports in accordance with the annual audit plan to ensure completion of assignments within assumed timelines.
• Supervise and manage work of junior team members, provide technical assistance, undertake post-assignment appraisals, and assist managers/partners with feedback.
• Make sure of the adequacy of internal control and monitor systems, besides risk management systems and their effectiveness to identify areas subjective to potential financial risks and offering recommendation for any weaknesses noted.
• Participates in dynamic risk assessment to assess risk across the company and develop the annual audit plan and control matrixes.
• Evaluates estimated budgets and the extent of their objectivity.
• Utilized detailed analytical procedures to analyse income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Maintains maximum compliance with tax laws and regulations by audits all tax records, examines and audits of individual and corporate tax documents to determine tax liability; and performs related work as required.
• Prepares and submits technical audit reports detailing all tax liabilities found and the basis for those liabilities.
• Review the applied system of costs and the extent of its suitability to the nature of the company's activities; and giving opinion on the efficiency of the costs system to evaluate the complete and non-complete inventory of production at the end of each financial period.
