• Responsible for the quality design, scale up, and representation of Save the Children’s Health/HiE programming. Involve technically in health emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Ensure that partners and SCI Health teams have the capacity to address key Health needs through ongoing technical support and guidance
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for the growth and development of the Health portfolio including emergency projects in close coordination with partner organizations and the SCI team. Serve as technical lead to develop quality proposals in response to identified opportunities in Health.
• Oversee development of technical training material to improve different components of HiE portfolio
• Ensure the coordination of all activities through active participation in coordination meetings and technical working groups at country and international levels.
• Involve in networking, collaboration, and partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the country e.g., Government Ministries, UN agencies, INGOs and Civil Society Organizations) as well as supporting coordination internally. Also, contribute in forums including donor meetings
• Support on-going advocacy and media efforts
Supervisor of the workers at National emergency information unit (SHOC room), Facilitator for National and Sub-national teams of the rapid response, Planner in the emergency department.
Contribute to emergency strategy development. Conduct operation research and provide evidence-based decision-making tool in the field of public health emergency/disaster risk management.
Responsible for managing the drugs donated by the Global Fund at state level. Reporting to federal level and procuring these medicines to state and then distribute it to its end-user in the localities and villages.
PhD degree achieved with dissertation focused on addressing public health risks induced by artisanal gold mining. Risk perception, health and economic impacts were assessed and analyzed. Two journal papers were published in high-rank peer-reviewed international journals having high impact factors.
Master's degree in Disaster management is a field of applying principles of public health in the area of emergency and disaters. By getting this degree the personis able to work in many fields of the academia and practicing of public health worldwide.
I have graduated with a master's degree in public Health. I have been selected to apply for a PhD at the University of Malaya, my prposal is on-progress
