• Cascade Group objectives to Site Management. Monitor and communicate on performance to integrate SH&E into business decisions.
• Implement, control, sustain and improve the Site SH&E Management System including achieving and maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. Support this through exercising functional leadership of SH&E Pillar.
• Provide coaching and support to Site Leadership Team in order to achieve SH&E objectives and ensure SH&E is a line management responsibility. Ensure that SH&E performance data is monitored and analyzed. Promote the awareness of SH&E through periodic and directed campaigns. Ensure periodical Management Review of SH&E.
• Conduct SH&E risk assessments, incident reporting and investigation, corrective action follow-up, as well as promoting behavioral observation and feedback in order to meet the site SH&E objectives and targets.
• Plan and conduct SH&E training sessions for Managers, Seniors, employees, contractors and/or vip-visitors prior to work commencement.
• Ensure compliance with Vehicle Safety Management System (VSMS).
• Ensure that emergency procedures are in place, understood and tested
in line with Company guidelines.
• Management of hauler/transport contracts; ensure all contractor
operations are properly supervised and stewarded.
• Ensure all firefighting systems are maintained properly & ready for emergencies.
Supports Lead QHSE statistical analysis and report results to QMHSE management. · Develop and improve the KPI monitoring and analysis system with most accurate and presentable analysis tools. · Review accident and investigation reports, identify any trends and ensure that there is an appropriate response to prevent future any recurrence. · Assist in designing, planning, implementation and evaluation of HSE awareness initiatives across the organization. · Assist in monitoring the updating status of the Company HSE document’s system and provide for new Standards and procedures development. · Perform all the necessary QHSE Reports as required and facilitate with the QHSE department for any related issues. · Assist all interested parties Infront of any interested parties and in consultation meetings. · Conduct QHSE induction and awareness Training for new employees, visitors and contractors.
• Manage Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) of 4 main factories of El-SEWEDY Transformers Egypt.
• Ensure compliance with local Laws and Regulations & EL-Sewedy Group SHE standards.
• Lead issuance & Maintenance of SHE certificates (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
• Conduct investigation for all incidents & prepare related corrective & preventive actions & share it via safety alert with the zone.
• Conduct risk assessment to all sites activities & integrate action plans’ results with tracking system.
• Ensure implementation of solid safety inspections & checklists with related teams of related departments.
• Establish new SHE policies and procedures as per requirements and support their implementation via related departments.
• Represent El-Sewedy Transformers Egypt in NEAR safety conferences & meetings.
• Develop & Monitor safety KPI’s for incidents, internal audits, behavior based safety (BBS), contractor management & tracking system for action plans.
• Develop & implement behavior based safety (BBS) program in all departments.
• Prepare all trainings needed based on skill matrix, local laws & E-Sewedy Group SHE requirements.
• Follow-up & implement LISA (Leading Indicator of Safety self-Assessment) requirements (Quarterly basis) to improve compliance level supported with KPI’S.
• Ensure saving of fuel, Electricity & water consumption on environmental KPI’s.
• Identify proactively SHE issues and delivers efficient responses to SHE improvement opportunities
• Develop emergency response plan and ensure conduction of effective test drills
• Prepare annual operating plan (Budget) including CAPEX needed for projects & ensure its control.
• Lead & take the full ownership of Vehicles safe driving projects implementation of El-Sewedy Transformers .
