Reporting to Managing Director.
Main responsibilities include:
• Working closely with the MD/GM to establish the commercial controls, project management and planning management centralized function to help implementing lean process.
• Close coordination with all projects’ stakeholders for scope verification and interface management.
• Provide leadership to existing project managers for prompt delivery of the projects.
• Set up PMO Quality Management database that includes PM methodology, process, plans and generic templates and ensure implementation across the portfolio.
• Manage and track resources allocation to projects for maximum utilization and efficiency.
• Manage the baseline costs and report on project profitability and margins.
• Work closely with finance to ensure cash availability to pay suppliers and subcontractors promptly to avoid any delays.
• Establish risks and opportunity registers and make sure they are managed properly by PMs and planners.
• Prepare close out reports and conduct lessons learned and knowledge management sessions.
• Work closely with the bids and estimation team to ensure proper pricing model is in place based on actual records from the ongoing projects.
• Conduct training sessions for project managers on WBS, CPM and EV analysis.
I was involved in the following projects:
• Port Fouad Hospital Renovation Project
Structural Repair & Renovation Project for the hospital consisting of basement, GF and three Floors, the structural repair included adding 9 shear walls to the existing building.
• Galala Waste Water Treatment Plant
WWTP with a capacity of 40, 000 m3/day utilizing Organica’s Food Chain Reactor Hybrid configuration. The innovative technology utilizes both, fixed film biomass and suspended growth biomass on natural plant roots.
• Various Projects in New Capital including residential and land scape projects.
Turnkey project to build and finish 54 residential buildings (B+GF+8 Floors) and 20 Feddan of landscape for the Green River area in New Capital.
Reporting to the General Manager.
Main responsibilities include:
• Manged the facility master plan to come up with expansion projects for next year, in coordination with the leadership team. Conducted the Profit and loss calculations for the proposed projects then projects were shortlisted and prioritized according to importance.
• Defined and justified the capital budget for next year in discussion with the Executive Management. Conducted detailed analysis and aligned the capital projects with other Coca Cola facilities around the world.
• Conducted series of virtual meetings with the head quarter in Atlanta, USA, to get final approval for the proposed capital budget.
• Managed an annual capital budget of 2.5 Million dollars spent on implementing expansion projects during the current year. Projects included new warehouse, new production rooms / production lines, renovation for the facility.
• Held periodic projects review meetings with the team to monitor the schedule and suggest corrective and preventive actions as required.
• Managed the team to successfully complete and validate projects with the required quality, budget, and schedule and according to the Coca Cola Company Specifications while ensuring that the production and other plant activities not negatively affected during the development of projects.
• Identify and control the internal stakeholders’ requests for change through the change control program that gave the opportunity for each employee to suggest a change that will benefit the operation, eliminate a risk or provide an opportunity.
• Successfully implemented process improvement project for the Capital Projects Department by changing the process flow and adding a workflow software in cooperation with the Operational Excellence Department.

Design and procurement for the on-site Gas Chlorination Plant and Neutralization System.
• Egyptian Fertilizer - Reverse Osmosis Project - Egypt
Design and Build for the Reverse Osmosis plant with capacity of 2500 m3/day in the Egyptian Fertilizers Factory.
• Kempinski Hotel - Reverse Osmosis Project - Djibouti
Design and Build project in Kempinski Hotel in Djibouti with capacity of 1000 m3/day
• Ain Sokhna Power Plant - Electro-Chlorination Project - Egypt
Electro-Chlorination plant in Ain Sokhna power plant with a capacity of 1350 Kg/h Cl2
• EBIC - Reverse Osmosis Project - Egypt
Design and Built for the Reverse Osmosis plant in the Egyptian Basic Industries factory in Ain Sokhna Industrial Area - Plant capacity 2400 m3 /day
Reporting to the Operations Manager.
I was responsible for the overall planning, managing and successful delivery of several multi-million dollars projects and my main responsibilities included:
• Overseeing the development of design from its conceptual stage to the final detailed stage;
• Allocating the necessary resources and assigning their roles and responsibilities;
• Managing the overall progress of the engineering, procurement and construction activities;
• Manage the process of evaluating all the technical and commercial offers from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure prompt award and delivery.
• Following up the monthly progress payments certification with client and sub-suppliers.
• Handling all technical and contractual correspondences with client and consultant and chair all progress meetings.
• Ensuring effective coordination between various internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the Risk and opportunities register and ensuring risks are assigned to the best party able to manage them.
I was involved in the following projects:
• Pearl of Qatar Reverse Osmosis Plant - Qatar
Engineering, Procurment and Construction project for a water desalination plant with a capacity of 35, 000 cubic meters per day serving the demand of water for irrigation, potable and district cooling requirements for the whole island. Project Budget 125 Million Qatari Riyals.
• Pearl of Qatar Sewage Treatment Plant - Qatar
Engineering, Procurment and Construction project for a sequential batch reactor of a capacity of 5, 000 cubic meters per day serving the island and the temporary facilities. Project Budget 18 Million Qatari Riyals.
• Pearl of Qatar Intake and outfall pipelines for the RO plant - Qatar
The project consists of two kilometers of onshore and offshore HDPE pipelines under sea bed level. The project includes the design and supply of intake screens and outfall diffusers. Project Budget 70 Million Qatari Riyals.
Leading a group of 6 QC Engineers in 'Nakheel Discovery Gardens Project'. The project consists of 8 multi story residential buildings of total built-up area 150, 600 m2 with a budget of 350 Million Dirhams.
