I’ve been working as an Electrical Power and Automation Engineer in
Melt shop plant and Utilities Dept.

-Associated in the revamping of Electrical Arc Furnace Transformer (+% MVA TAMINI
Transformer), and its Siemens switch gear, Where I was responsible for installation and pre-
commissioning tests.
-Associated in the big maintenance of main receiving substation (2x MVA OLTC
transformers, kV switchgear), and substation (Static VAR Compensator andKV
switchgear).
-Associated in the revamping of Electrical Arc Furnace automation system S7 in
conjunction with Wonderware InTouch SCADA systems.
-Responsible for the migration of Continues casting machine CCM and ladle refining furnace
LRF car VFDs AC Drivrs from SIMOVERT (FC) to SINAMICS (G).
-Associated in the new RMH and DRI project where I was worked as an electrical erection and
commissioning engineer.
-Familiar with EAF, LRF, Raw Material Handling and the dust collection system (DCS)
functional description and all electrical equipment, field devices installation, configuration
and calibration.
-Familiar with EAF Electrode regulation (HIREG Regulator Tuning and Troubleshooting).

What am I able to do?
Prepare maintenance plane.
Work to identify malfunctions (troubleshooting).
Spare parts control with a unification plane.
Analysis for melt shop electrical parameters to achieve smooth operation, reduce
consumptions and fine adaptation for these parameters.
Execute training programs for technicians.

-Motor control center (MCC) panels design.
-Programmable Logic Controllers, where i have ability to programming
various types of PLCs:
=Siemens (SIMATIC Step 5 & Step 7, TIA portal V).
=Omron (CX-Programmer).
=Mitsubishi (GX IEC-Developer).
=GEMO (GEMO Ladder Editor).
=GE Fanuc (Black box Client).
=FATEK FBs series (WinProLadder).
=LS--MASTER-K series (KGL_WIN).
=LS--KGT, KGK, KGI series (XG).
=DELTA (WPL soft).

_Have ability to programming various types of SCADA/HMI:
=Siemens (WinCC, WinCC flexible); Omron ( CX-=Supervisor, NT-Support Tool, NS-
Design); DELTA (TP Editor); LS industries (XP Builder); and kinco
(kincoHMIware ).

-Have an ability to install various types of AC Drives:
Simovert master drives; Micromaster; SINAMICS; SIMOTION; ABB; Delta; and
Schneider.

-Another Systems & software

Relay Co-ordination using EDSA software and Equivalent.
Short Circuit Calculation, power factor correction, Harmonic filter design and cable design using Etap software.
Lighting design and simulation with the international simulation program DIALUX.
AutoCAD Electrical Design.
MATLAB toolboxes.
PIC and AVR microcontroller C programming language; can learn new software quickly.
Systems: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
