Main Responsibilities:
1. Investigate and asses alerts for potential ML risks;
2. Conduct regular screening &transaction monitoring and analysis;
3. Ensure efficient identification and monitoring of suspicious
activities and transactions;
4. Maintain a current understanding of money laundering and terrorist
financing issues including policies, procedures, regulations,
international standards and, best practices.
5. Ensure proper investigation of suspicious transactions or money
laundering alerts;
6. Ensure timely, efficient reporting of suspicious transactions to
AML senior officer & Head of compliance;
7. Obtain documentary proof of suspicious transactions and ensure
effective record keeping of suspicious transactions;
8. Assist with money laundering related queries received from central
bank of Jordan and AML Unit;
9. Assist in development of in-person AML\CFT\Sanctions
compliance training for the bank employees
10.Advising and guiding the business and support functions with
respect to client due diligence queries, AML/CFT matters,
sanctions, internal policies and local laws;
11.Timely execution of instructions/queries received from head of
compliance, CBJ &/ or AML Unit.
12.Supporting associate team within AML control functions and
related projects.

1. Participate with the key officers in the company (Executive Manager, Financial Manager and Brokerage Manager) with partnership of Compliance Department in Bank of Jordan in setting up Company Risk Profile and its related Risk Matrix and conducting any needed update or change due to changing in work environment or regulations.
2. Conducting self assessment (Compliance Test) on monthly basis according to Risk Profile and its related Risk Matrix using CARE System to assess efficiency of risk compliance controls.
3. Developing needed policies and conducting necessary updates (like compliance policy, Anti money laundry Compliance Policy, Margin Financing Policy Etc…)
4. Studying all new accounts (for new customer) to verifying that all needed documents and information and elements of KYC (Know your customer) and CDD (Customer Due diligence) are complete and recommend making customer acceptance to executive management.
5. Monitoring customer's transactions (Deposits, withdrawals and trading) to verify that there is no suspicious transaction related to Money Laundering or Terrorism Financing.
6. Monitoring complying with financial credibility on weekly basis.
7. Conducting with needed disclosures on monthly basis or in any time is needed to do it, complying with Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) or Jordan security commission (JSC) instructions.
8. Monitoring overdraft accounts to verify complying with company policy.
9. Prepare for audit committee meetings and setting minutes of meeting on quarterly basis.
10. Checking and monitoring executing customers trading orders according to written orders, table orders or recorded orders via voice recording system on daily basis.
11. Provide needed training for new employees about company's polices, regulations and instructions, in addition to provide needed training or informing for current employees with new regulations or any change in company's policies personally, via E-mail or memos.
12. Studying and verifying all New High Risk Accounts before establishing any relationship with the customers (Like customers from high risk countries, Non residents Customers and Politically Exposed persons PEPs) including personal, Corporate, Attorney ship Guardianship and beneficiary accounts.
13. Verifying KYC (Know Your Customer) and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) and Customer Identification procedures are met including availability of all needed documents like customer ID, goal of account opening, Source of funds, Income amount addresses Phone numbers Etc...
14. Checking Names of accounts holders and real beneficiaries on UN, OFAC lists in addition to local lists like black list and forbidden customers list Etc…
