I was promoted to be a REGIONAL HR MANAGER and lead the expansion plans in the GCC countries ((Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and UAE) for the retail sector.
I was managing the HR operations, structure, Recruitment and training sectors for 6 stores in the GCC countries and 25 stores in UAE in different retail brands and for around 300 retailers.
Key Achievements
Reengineered the HR department and streamlined infrastructure and transitioned operations to support the HR growth in the GCC..
Studied the labor law for each country to centralize the HR Operations and collaborated with the IT to ensure smooth and unified HR procedures and the extraction of accurate monthly data.
Recruited over 5o professional retailers across the GCC and UAE in all levels and cut recruitment cost through hiring from non-costly and efficient recruitment channels and brought recruitment in house which resulted in saving a huge part from the annual recruitment budget.
Construct strategic HR plans, policies and directed job descriptions, job evaluation, training and orientation programs.
Built a centralized training center in UAE to train and coach the new joiners and the existing retailers in UAE and GCC, Designed and implemented different staff training, induction and orientation programs.
Utilize modern training methods such as team learning for effective training and utilize variety of learning materials, resources and technology methods to support and improve instructional environment.
Led and coached a team of 10 HR professionals in UAE and the GCC.
Led a company wide cultural change process to transform from local to international organization.
Delivered exceptional outstanding outcomes in centralizing and operating smooth HR operations and system across the GCC which resulted in top management appreciation
