Design implementation
• Planning and coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring minimum downtime.
• Maintenance of plant machinery including rubber rolling/mixing mills, tyre builders, sieving extruders, Splicing machines, curing presses, duplex tread extruders, Tube/tread conveyor, tube extruders and motors etc.
• Maintenance of utilities on site including boilers (coal fired fluidized bed type, and fire tube packaged type), pumps, compressors, chillers & cooling towers.
• Root cause analysis and reliability centered maintenance meetings.
• Supervise shutdowns at platform and workshop levels.
• Coordinate with production team to meet production goals.
• Identification of Parts requirement for local and imports and generate the purchase requisites and forward to commercial department for further process.
• Maintain the record of Machine history, Parts consumption history at different intervals for DSS (decision support system).
• Using CMMS (computerized maintenance management system i.e. SAP ) for work orders, PM Plan, CM Plan.
• Ensure best practices of HSE requirements as per international standards (HAZZAP, PTW, JSA, ECC, ERT, RRT, EMT, Emergency drills, mustering exercise etc).
• Played a vital role in certification of ISO 9001 surveillance QMS audit in June 2014.
• Conducting monthly audit of engineering team for power tools, hand tools, measuring instrument and PPEs and report to manager Engineering.
• Monitoring and evaluating the project by using project tools i.e. pert, CPM, Gantt Chart, time crushing, cost crushing.
• Some of the projects include:
• Installation of Coal Fired Fludized bed boiler with Steam generation capacity of 25 T/hr.
• Conversion of 03 packaged type boilers having steam generation capacity of 18 T/hr, 13 T/hr, 8 T/hr from furnace oil to solid fuel i.e. rice husk & corn cob.
• Installation of 2500 ft. long steam pipeline.
• Complete project for an educational building with more than 100 rooms and cooling load over 200 RT.
• Primarily responsible for HVAC system design; including load estimation, ducting and piping layouts, P&IDs, and equipment selection.
• Also monitored equipment installation, duct-work, piping, and commissioning.
As an Internee to visualize various stage of cement Production and Machinery inside the plant.
