• Lead in the building of market intelligence and labour market data to ensure that development decisions in TVET are evidence-driven and are made in response to sector-specific market needs and requirements.
• Undertake research and analysis activities related to the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector.
• Identify gaps in data relevant to ACTVET areas of interest and commission or conduct surveys and research to fill these gaps.
• Provide benchmarking for best practices related to the TVET sector
• Work with the Head of Strategic Planning on the preparation and update of the 5-year Strategic Plan and ensure its alignment with Abu Dhabi Plan, National Agenda and the Governement guidelines.
• Produce report that analyses market trends for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, referencing international trends and providing comparative analysis where possible.
• Support business plans for Strategic Initiatives being developed and incubated by ACTVET.
• Develop presentations for delivery to the senior management, and other key stakeholders.

• Responsible for research activities at Al Maabar to identify real estate trends, demand drivers and potential real estate opportunities. This includes:
- Work closely with the Business Development Department in conducting required research and analysis for new opportunities.
