Reporting
• Review and contribute in the process of preparing monthly and quarterly investment reports for all funds entrusted to the Arab Monetary Fund.
• Preparing Analytical reports for the distribution of assets and liabilities of the organization location-wise and maturity-wise on quarterly basis.
• Prepare detailed analysis on investments portfolio allocations and related income projections for inclusion in the annual administrative budget, and revising the overall budget on quarterly basis.
• Review and contribute in the timely and adequate preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements for all funds.

Recording and Processing
• Review and approve daily and month end exchange rates data in the system.
• Supervise the day to day work of the investment accounting function to ensure accurate and complete recording of investment transactions and proper supporting documentation for all internally managed portfolios.
• Review the accuracy and adequacy of accounting entries associated with investment transactions and approve them.
• Initiate the process of month end accounting entries relating to internally managed portfolios, review and post generated entries.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly analysis of positions and income components of externally managed bonds portfolios, contribute in investigating differences between managers and custodian reports and verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly analysis of changes in Net Asset Values of Alternative Investments and verify the accuracy and completeness of related accounting entries.
• Control the process of transferring subsystems data to the General Ledger, reconciling subsystems reports with the GL balances and resolving any differences that may arise.
• Review and contribute in the analysis and allocation and recording of income among the various components of AMF portfolios.
• Review the monthly reconciliation of correspondent and custodian accounts for all funds and contribute in investigating and resolving differences.
• Contribute in coordinating the process of confirming investment transactions as required for external audit, and review of data prepared for circulation.
• Ensure that internal party and external auditors queries are responded to on a timely manner.
• Identify areas for improvements in the procedures and systems and work closely with the IT development team to set specifications and undertake necessary testing and implementation as agreed by the Accounts Division Chief and approved by Director.
