 3G main responsibilities:
• Perform optimization activities to ensure that the KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, Integrity, and Mobility) meet the target.
• Monitoring network and cell KPIs through Business Object.
• Analyzing drive test using ACTIX to investigate drop calls, missing neighbors, pilot pollution, Co-scrambling code, Cross feeders
• Responsible of 3G network parameters and features implementation
• Investigation HSDPA low throughput and high drops, also congestion problems (code, power and HW issues ‐ Radio capacity optimization )
• Creating and Analyzing records like WNCS and WMRR, traces like GPEH and UETR to troubleshooting worst cells and solving their problems .
• Radio optimization by request modification on (tilt, Azimuth, height, optimizing neighbors’ relations, IRAT parameters) after analyzing counters data and measurements.
• Coverage and Capacity predictions using Asset.
• Have good knowledge on Ericsson RBS & RNC portfolio.
• Excellent experience of whole planning from measurement request to the delivery of FN8 for coverage, quality and capacity sites
• Designing Macro, Micro and Pico cells in the network using Asset tool
• Designing and planning indoor solutions
• Dealing with VIP complaints


 2G main responsibilities:
• Upgrade 2G cells to face increasing traffic and congestion issues on the network by improving its capacity
• Creating and Analyzing 2G records like ( FAS, MRR, NCS)
• Optimizing new and existing 2G sites making sure the site is performing according to design objectives with the best quality available.

• High ability to define and analyze the GRAN/WRAN KPIs 2G & 3G.
• Dimensioning & planning the RAN (RNC, Node-B, BSC & BTS) equipment’s and all related interfaces
• Introduce new RNC/BSC to the network, working on the HLD & LLD of the node, and manage the project from ordering the hardware till the rehoming of the last site to the new RNC/BSC.
• Acceptance test documentation & follow up.
• Understanding of WRAN/GRAN Roadmap and WRAN/GRAN equipment’s phase out from vendor.
• Define BSC / RNC boarders (LAC, RAC), and solve high paging & location area Updates problem.
• Study the Network impact reports of the new WRAN & GRAN Software Releases, Manage the project of Upgrading to the needed SW release including defining the FNI nodes, define the project time plan and assess the NW KPI's after the upgrade.
• Network Performance monitoring on daily bases with suggestion to change / modify plans to accommodate any change in Subscriber behavior.
• High understanding of GRAN/WRAN Features Evaluation.
• Study new 2G/3G features, activation of features that will improve the NW performance, assessment of NW KPIs after activation and prepare presentations describing the feature effect to the upper management.
• Perform routine parameter audits.
• Project management & in-line projects with other department NSS, Transmission, Roll Out & other departments to have a clear project schedule.
• Very good experience in Business Object, Map Info.
• Good experience with OSS Ericsson.
• Budget Control and Financial Related Issues (Quotations, Ordering, invoicing…).
• Identification and analysis of key issues on the network in order to achieve QoS targets for 2G/3G.
• 3G/2G network environment and good radio knowledge.
• Ability to improve 3G cells on following KPIs:
o Low throughput analysis.
o Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance. (Accessibility, Retainability & Service Integrity).
o Identify capacity bottlenecks and issue capacity upgrade requests whenever needed.

• Expert in Motorola RAN network.
• Responsible for planning and optimization of a WiMAX IEEE 802.16e Motorola based network in East Amman area.
• Frequency and Radio parameters planning, Expansion planning and site survey, Coverage and capacity simulation using Atoll planning tool.
• Periodic drive testing, Analyzing drive test data and provide recommendations to enhance network performance, Periodic auditing for the network physical configuration.
• Analyzing performance on both network and cell levels, Generating periodic reports, Problems detection and issuing resolution, Identifying abnormal behavior via network trending analysis.
• Performance evaluation of new CPE`s from different vendors, Evaluating the performance of new Access Points and CPE software releases.
• Technical Support in the events, which are sponsored by our company.
• Designing, planning, commissioning and installing for Pre-WiMAX links (Redline, Proxim).
• Designing, planning, commissioning and installing for Dragon-Wave Microwave links and issuing link studies using Path Loss tool, Frequency planning & capacity planning for WiMAX sites backhaul.
• Analyzing network stats and generating daily/weekly KPI reports.
• WiMAX link budget studies for Pre-WiMAX links.
• Providing end user support for all coverage/quality related complains
• Expert in using drive test tools such as Nemo outdoor and Nemo analyze tools.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance for all WiMax equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting of both WiMAX and P-to-P systems.
• Perform installation, configuration, commissioning, testing and integration of all WiMAX RAN Network elements.

• Responsible for maintain, monitor, install and repair physical/logical network infrastructure and hardware components.
• Oversee all operational tasks of IP Operation Department; provide knowledgeable and experienced answers to common and uncommon situations encountered by IP Network Engineers.
• Responsible for CACTI and PRTG monitoring tools servers’ installation and troubleshooting.
