● Major Contributor for successfully launching Bahrain revamped Portal with a very tight deadline (4 months). Lead the Portal infrastructure
Implementation part of the project.
● Fine tuned the e-Government portal and other middleware solutions to get significant improvement in performance over the measured baseline. while meeting the loud requirements.
● Securing and hardening the Portal environment and resolve the reported vulnerabilities.
● Maximizing Availability and minimizing downtime by planning and handling middleware environment change activities and resolving incidents while meeting customer SLAs.
● Discovering problems and root cause for performance issues in middleware critical applications by implementing and using
AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring solution.
Current Duties include:
● Installing and configuring IBM WebSphere Portal, WebSphere Application Servers running over SUSE LINUX VMs in addition to other supporting
components.
● Performing Installation, configuration, performance tuning and applying fixes and patches for government portal and underlying platform.
● providing technical support services to IBM WebSphere Portal, application servers and other Java based application servers in IGA environments.
● Preparing and configuring SUSE LINUX OS for hosting Application servers.
● Troubleshoot issues in eGov portal environment end-end (Portal /Application Servers/OS/network/storage).
● Preparing documentation for projects and perform onsite sessions to customers IT teams.
● Installing and configuring AppDynamics Application Performance monitor solution, controller, events service, EUM and agents.
● Handling the ongoing e-gov Portal migration to AWS. Creating replication jobs in SMS, Copying and encrypting AMIs, starting Compute EC2 instances, managing SG configuration within VPC.
System Administrator for IBM environment composed of POWER Servers running AIX, Tivoli Storage Manager backup solution and IBM DS SAN. In addition to Webhosting and Mail System administration over ORACLE Solaris.
Responsibilities includes :
Administration for AIX environment, creating shell scripts and performing monitoring and error diagnostics on daily basis, besides adjusting the environment parameters according to requirements.
Administrating HACMP on high availability DB2 nodes.
Administrating SAN, daily health-checks, and changing configurations
Administrating TSM solution
Planning new SAN installations for exchange solution
Planning upgrades and test environment.
The only Computer Engineer, responsibilities include Network Administration and maintenance, PC maintenance and Supply, System (Windows Server 2003/UNIX) Administration and Active Directory Management.
Main Projects Involved In:
1. University of Jordan Network Development:
Involved in Building Redundant Reliable and Scalable Layered Network Design procedure and in monitoring implementation and Upgrade procedures, executive manager for the hospital part of the project.
2. Supervised the preparation of a new separate secure data center for Hospital Servers.
3. Executed the Hospital Servers transfer to the new data center, and performed the network configuration required changes to provide the connectivity to the Server and from the Server to the Computer center needed Servers.
4. The project of supply and installation of new database and application servers alongside with SAN storage solution and tape library.
5. Member “Owner member” of Communication and Information AGI Accreditation program team for JU Hospital.
BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduated with Excellent Grade GPA 3.81/4 Third in Jordanian Universitie Achievment Exam in Computer Engineering Honored by university spring 2004/2005 ,spring 2005/2006, spring 2006/2007 Honored by Department in every semester in the period : Fall 2004- Fall 2008.
