I am working with GE as project manager for :
Key Projects Executed:
 GCCIA -Phase 1-HVDC Project.
 Static Var Compensator for Quwayaa Project
 New Jazan Economic City 380kV BSP (4 diameters one and half configuration for 380kV GIS, Two power transformer 502 MVA and 6 diameter 132kV GIS single bus single breaker).
 Reinforcement of 132/33kV for Mowaqaq Substation 8913.
 Reinforcement of 132/33kV for Jihafah Substation 8914.
 Reinforcement of 132/33kV for Hulaifah Substation 8921.
Client: Approved from Saudi Electricity Company to serves as Project Manager for 380kV Substation and 132kV Substation for above mentioned projects and Gulf interconnection authority.

Key Responsibilities:
 In charge of supervising and monitoring the Product project execution.
In close collaboration with the Product Lines project teams (Power Transformer, Capacitor Banks, reactors, Power Converters), manage locally a portfolio of projects with contractors of Saudi Arabia market.
 the interface between the customer and the project team.
 Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project.
 Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.
 Perform proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision.
 Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
 Manage Technical issues related to the Products.
 Manage the changes and adapt the objectives & strategy accordingly
 Organize and lead Gate reviews.
 Address project management issues (performance, . etc.)
 Contribute significantly to project management process improvements and delivery processes at Unit level SCOPE MANAGEMENT.
 Manage the entire project scope of work
 Analyze Customer requirements.
 Detect errors/inconsistencies within customer requirement. Propose solutions to reduce those gaps and lead the relevant negotiations,
 Responsible for delivering the project on time
 Produce and update Master project schedule, based on Multi-Units schedules
 Produce and updates list of key milestones (incl customers) Anticipate on-time delivery issues (documents, services, equipments)
 Measure project progress and anticipate actions
 Take responsibility for the gross margin of the overall project
 Maximize profit and cash at each phase of project
 Foresee costs & margins at completion
 Monitor cash evolution and take actions
 Develop monthly sales forecast (in close cooperation with the project controller)
 Develop costs and revenue recovery plans
 Optimize Costs
 Responsible that EHS & quality requirements are followed by GE Grid teams and subcontractors.
 Responsible for all aspects of communication within the project in particular to promote communication between Units.
 Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and healthy communication.
 Manage ongoing working relationships with at top decision makers to ensure creative solutions and influence decision
 Provide reporting to customer.
 Monitor Multi-Units performance through project reviews.
 Conduct Risk Sessions.
 Identify and implement risk mitigation plans
 Proactively generate and manage.
 Offering a full range of project management, engineering, procurement and management services and maintaining all required interface between power transformers and electrical components.

 Carrying out detailed engineering and technical work for the 33kV switchgear, 13.8kV switchgear, HV & MV cables, SCADA, interface with remote end, etc.
 Streamlined project management plans to suit multi-unit and complex environment in adherence to international corporate standards and to the project technical specification.

Lead Electrical Engineer for Power Plant and 380 kV Substation في SEPCO III

SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Corporation is a global engineering corporation that specializes in the construction of various types of power plants and HV Substations.
Key Projects Executed:
 Ras Alkhair power plant 2400 MW and desalination plant (produce 1 million m3 per day- biggest desalination plant in the world). consisting of 17 Power transformer (273 MVA- Hyundai), (12 UAT transformers 120 MVA-three winding-Siemens), (44 Distribution transformer-2500KVA-Siemens), 5 block combined cycle ( 10 Gas Turbine -Siemens -200 MW and 5 steam turbine 170 MW) and 1 block as open cycle (dual firing plant) and 380kV Substation.
 380/13.8 kV Substation: Encompassing of 15 bays (one & half configuration and two set - down transformers (25 MVA) and 13.8kV switchgear & all associated systems. (Value: 12, 000, 000, 000 SR)
 Rabigh 2*660MW IPP Project and the 380 kV Substation in Yanbu. (Value: 1, 000, 000, 000 SR.)

Key Responsibilities:
 Prepared & reviewed of project technical specifications including scope work, electrical engineering documents and design drawings.
 Carried out all types of electrical calculation including sizing calculation for generator set-up transformers, unit auxiliary transformer and distribution transformers.
 Attended Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at manufacturers premises-
 17 GSU transformers in Hyundai Heavy Industries, Ulsan Korea
 UAT and Auxiliary transformers in Siemens, Dresden, Germany
 FATs for Various electrical equipment such as GIS, switchgear, UPS and Battery.
 Tested and commissioned; troubleshoot and upgrade; prepare requisitions for, and technical evaluations of Transformer equipment and evaluate transformer test results with remedial actions in case of variance.
 Performed project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems
 Conducted several electrical studies for the project such as Generation rejection scheme, voltage stability study, transient and load rejection study, harmonics content and distortion, potline start for Ma’aden, protection coordination study and motor starting study for performing improvisations to the project.
 Coordinated between electrical power system, generator protection as well as the 380 KV substation; Doosan (Desalination of water) and PS1 (pumping Station) as well as own engineering team for flawless execution.
 Performed key functions such as documentation (GIS design, LCC schematics, bus bar and line protection, SAS engineering and integration, LDC, etc.) log reports generation, critical equipment/material analysis & failure investigation if required.
 Provided inputs during management meeting with SWCC (Owner of the project) and SEC as well as the OE in addition to follow-up of plant operation concept with Siemens and ABB.
 Carried out a detailed assessment of the commissioning work involved in protection relays such as generator, transformer, HV cable, MV switchgear, LV switchgear, bus bar protection, line protection, etc. and assessed the available resources and ensure the setting up of safety procedures for the same.
 Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of several advanced engineering tools including Digsi software and PCM for protection.
 Maintained contacts with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers, as necessary, for development, execution, procurement, quality on all projects.
 Ensured that close-out procedures after Energization as per contract & scope of work are being complied.

 Phase II simple cycle, the facility consists from two power transformer (100MVA-Koncar), two UAT transformers (25 MVA), and two gas turbine generators (GE) frame 9EA MKVI.
 Add-on (conversion Phase II from simple cycle to combined cycle) by add two HRSG, one steam turbine and one power transformer 100 MVA- Teba made.
 Construction for 400 KV Substation to connect SAMRA power plant with North Amman Substation.
 Phase III simple cycle, the facility consists from two gas turbine generators (ALSTOM), two power transformer (180 MVA- Hyundai) and two UAT (25 MVA-Hyundai)
 132kV Substation to connect phase 3 with Al-Hussain 132 Substation.

Key Responsibilities:
 Provided technical power solutions and engineering support for projects, on sites installation and daily operation of power transformers from basic till detail engineering.
 Detailed road maps to facilitate testing and commissioning troubleshoot, repair, erect, upgrade and vacuum-fill various sizes and types of transformers.
 Planned schedules for electrical installations, material sourcing and testing activities in addition to manpower planning; evaluated specifications and ensured all activities comply with project objectives and client standards.
 Ensured successful project execution and continued safe and efficient operation entailing seamless coordination of Engineering Activities, alignment with approved shop drawing and established timeframes.
 Reviewed and documented all the electrical design changes; approved the shop drawings & as-built drawings and ensured all changes are incorporated in the contract at various stages of project from start up till close out.
 Managed, expedited and supported contractor document submittals, approved shop drawings/material samples, monitored site works and schedules in accordance with specifications and EPC contract.
 Lead safe execution and site commissioning of transformers as well as startup activities for electrical works; participated in FAT test for the major equipment such as transformer and generator and witnessed performance test for the gas turbine and steam turbine
