Operate and monitor the plant and related auxiliaries in a safe and reliable manner to ensure production and provision of uninterrupted steam supply and oil final product. The position reports to the Assistant Shift Charge Engineer The primary responsibility of the job holder is to operate and monitor the plant in a safe and reliable manner ensuring uninterrupted power supply, steam production, and oil final product. The work environment is subject to high noise levels, fumes, gas, high pressure lines, gas leaks, high voltage, high speed rotating equipment. The job holder is challenged to maintain a high level of good housekeeping and heightened awareness and compliance with safety procedures and standards.
NOMAC - SIWPP # III ( Water 900, 000m3/day 12MSF & Power 3x420 MWe T/G ). *Inspection of 2080tons/hr front fire 12x2 crude oil burners, 4x2 diesel oil start up burners boiler of ANSALDO. *Routine check up & trouble shootings of FD Fans, RG fans, FGD booster fans & Auxiliary cooling air fans. *Routine and trouble shootings of FGD flue gas desulphurization system. *Routine and trouble shootings of ESP Electro-Static Precipitator system. *Routine and trouble shootings of Fly Ash Handling System. *Routine and trouble shootings on 3x420 MWe T/G. *Routine and trouble shootings of 18 soot blowers, full & half retracted for regenerative air heater, secondary super heater, primary super heater, re-heater, & economizer. *Start up & shutdown of 90tons/hr Auxiliary Boiler for initial start up. *Start up shutdown & line up of 900, 000m3/day 12MSF (MULTIPLE STAGE FLASH DISTILLATION PLANT). *Start up & shutdown of Electro-Chlorination plant. *Start up & shutdown of Gas Chlorination plant for sea water intake. * Recharging of Limestone Filters for Potabilization plant. * Operation of Co2 Addition System for Potabilization. *Operation & line up of Chemical Dosing ( anti scalant, anti foam, sodium sulphite, Noah, Naocl). * Inspection of Plant equipments, their indicators to detect operating problems and make trouble shooting when required. * To issue WA (Work Authorization) and W & TA (Work & Test Isolation on different system as per OTO (Order to Operate). * Complete and maintain station records, chronological logs, General Logs, Technical Data and Equipment performance reports. * Perform duty on 137 MW(e) Turbine Generator (T/G), Pre-Commissioning Commissioning, Start up and Shutdown of systems.
